Chapter 194 - Hello, I'm Ling

194. Hello, I'm Ling

That day, Vill-V sat down at her computer again.

"Let's go check out Mobius's lab again today!" A fighting spirit ignited in Vill-V's eyes.

[Be careful, you almost got caught by that Mobius last time,] Ling warned.

"Relax, I was just careless last time, I definitely won't be caught this time..." Vill-V waved her hand, utterly confident in her abilities.

This was the first time she'd encountered a worthy opponent in this area.

Inside the lab, Mobius's assistant, Blanca, had already noticed something amiss and reported it to Mobius.

"Just as the Doctor said, she's definitely a competitive person. She won't let it go after being kicked out last time."

"Stop flattering me, start the counterattack." A smile played on Mobius's lips. Finally, she'd arrived.

This time, Mobius's defenses were clearly stronger than before, but they still couldn't stop Vill-V's intrusion.

Vill-V advanced slowly, and much unfamiliar information began to come into her view.

"Hmm? The security here seems much stronger than other places; it must be a big fish." Vill-V's eyes lit up, as if she had discovered something valuable.

Just as Vill-V was about to conquer the area, Ling seemed to realize something.

[Wait, Velvi, don't...]

Sure enough, the next second, Vill-V's signal was instantly exposed to Mobius.

"The big fish... has taken the bait." Mobius lightly brushed her lips.

[Run! It's a trap!] Ling urged urgently.

Even without Ling's reminder, Vill-V immediately began packing her things and ran outside.

"Miss 'V,' you're under arrest."

Suddenly, a pink figure blocked Vill-V's path.

"Who cares about you!"

Vill-V immediately threw a smoke grenade to conceal herself. These were some magic props she had made, hoping to fool her opponent.

Just as Vill-V crossed an alley, she encountered her again.

"Don't be so scared, I'm very gentle with cute girls!" Elysia winked at her.

"Hello, I'm Elysia, Miss Vill-V. Are you still going to struggle?"

When Elysia revealed Vill-V's real name, Vill-V knew she had nowhere to run.

"Really… are you going to put me in jail?" Seeing this, Vill-V stopped running and instead asked Elysia.

"Although I really don't want to be rough with cute girls, I'm sorry, this is my mission." Elysia gently closed one eye.

"I have a diagnosis of schizophrenia." Vill-V produced a certificate.

"It won't work on us." Elysia seemed to have expected this, flicking her silver bracelet.

And so, Vill-V was arrested.

However, less than an hour after Elysia brought Vill-V to prison, Vill-V successfully escaped!

Elysia quickly recaptured Vill-V following the clues.

This time, with guards, there shouldn't be any problems.

But two hours later, the guard collapsed, and the prison gate was successfully pried open.

"She can even hypnotize? She's given me so many surprises." Elysia returned once more and caught the escaped Vill-V.

She changed prisons five times in a row, breaking through in less than an hour at the fastest, and only taking three days at the slowest.

The members of the Fire Moth finally realized just how terrifying Vill-V was.

Reluctantly, after discussion, the Fire Moth members decided to dump her on a small island called P-21 and let her fend for herself.

Elysia suggested trying to recruit this genius.

Magic, hacking, hypnosis, drugs, engineering...

The abilities Vill-V displayed alone already surpassed those of countless others.

Elysia's suggestion was quickly echoed by the Fire Moths, who began attempting to contact the terrifying genius, Vill-V.

On P-21 Island, Vill-V, with nothing better to do, tamed a large number of monkeys, conducting social experiments.

She even created weapons for them to observe their behavior.

Many people approached Vill-V, discovering that she initially believed the Second Honkai Impact in Siberia was caused by the Fire Moths, but later she discovered numerous human experiments, hence her intention to teach the Fire Moths a small lesson.

However, because Vill-V had studied psychology, the Fire Moths couldn't determine whether Vill-V was lying or not.

But on P-21 Island, Vill-V remained friendly, at least not displaying aggression.

About half a month passed, and Mobius appeared on P-21 Island.

Looking at the densely packed formulas on the beach, she couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity and began to examine them.

What she saw sent chills down Mobius's spine.

"Is Vill-V building nuclear weapons?!"

No, it's not just nuclear weapons, but something far more terrifying.

"Get out of my way," Vill-V said coldly.

Vill-V half-squatted on the ground, continuing to write something incomprehensible to any normal person.

After she finished, Mobius pondered for a moment and realized that all the data actually worked.

Vill-V, alone, on a deserted island with nothing, had designed a weapon capable of easily destroying a city.

"Honkai Energy Fission Bomb, does that name sound nice?" Vill-V's tone returned to its cheerful and lively self.

"...You want to prove your worth?" Mobius asked.

"No, I don't want to, that's too boring... More importantly, you're the one who plotted to capture me, right, Mobius?" Vill-V recognized her immediately.

"What advice do you have, you defeated opponent?" Mebius sneered.

"I wouldn't call it guidance, I just want to see who is the second person able to defeat me," Vill-V said nonchalantly.

"Oh? The second?" Mobius noticed the keyword in her statement.

"The first was Ling, my younger brother," Vill-V explained.

Mobius was puzzled. There was no mention of Ling in the information she had received, and Vill-V had no siblings.

"No matter how much you argue, it's useless. I am the older sister. I've already asked Mom; I came out first."

"Heh heh heh, I'm not listening, you're just talking nonsense."

Vill-V was talking to thin air.

"Where is this Ling you're talking about?" Mobius asked.

"You wouldn't believe it if I told you, he's in my head." Vill-V pointed to her head.

"No wonder your medical history says you have schizophrenia. It seems you really have developed another personality?" Mobius showed a hint of interest.

"Ling isn't my other personality; he's my younger brother."

"Hmph, no matter what you say, it's useless. From now on, I'll introduce you to everyone I meet as my younger brother."

Vill-V said to Ling in her mind.

"I don't care about martial ethics."

Vill-V seemed to be having a good time arguing with Ling.

Soon, Mobius noticed what sounded like monkey calls coming from the nearby jungle.

Upon learning that it was Vill-V's daily observation of monkey social behavior, Mobius felt a chill run down her spine for no apparent reason.

She seemed to be one of her kind...

Only, she observed humans, while Vill-V, lacking the necessary conditions, was only observing monkeys.

Or perhaps it wasn't so; maybe the current Vill-V was observing her?

"Can I talk to that Ling?" Mobius asked.

"Hmm? I don't think I've ever tried this before, Ling. Want to give it a try?"

"Hmm... alright, then I'll have to do it."

Just as Mobius was wondering what she meant, Vill-V suddenly crossed her arms and closed her eyes.

When she opened her eyes again, her entire demeanor had changed.

"Hello, I'm Ling. What do you need?"
