After Rion finished his words, the squad leaders cupped their hands for the final time and, with a devoted farewell, all of them left the place — all except Karhun.
Rion glanced at Karhun, and without saying anything, he walked inside his hut.
Karhun followed behind him, the wooden floor creaked under his muscular bear-like frame, and Rion, who was sitting in Dora's bed, fell into his vision.
Rion pointed at the empty fur bed and said, "Take a seat."
Karhun nodded, walked over to Rion's fur bed and slowly sat on it.
For the next three minutes, they continued to stare into each other's eyes before Rion finally decided to break the silence.
"Are you unhappy with my decision?"
Karhun shook his head. "No, I am not."
A surprised expression appeared on Rion's face, and he mumbled while scratching his cheek with his finger, "I was quite certain that you'd disagree with me."
