"Now that's just extravagant," Enzo mused as he stepped into the open compound. The minister's home spread out before him like a living gallery, high tech art woven seamlessly with controlled natural phenomena. Floating structures hummed softly in the air, light bending around glass and metal while vines of engineered greenery curled along polished stone.
It was beautifully designed, crafted to impress at every angle. For a slum rat like Enzo, though, it felt overwhelming. There was too much order here, too much perfection, as if even the air had been trained to behave.
"Haha, the minister likes the greater things in life. High tech art is his passion," the boss laughed. He grabbed a floating cube box, spinning it with a flick of his fingers until it slowed and settled back into place, obedient as a pet.
