Although Song Jie had already eliminated several people, there were still quite a few competitors left!
If things didn't work out, he could only carry out the plan he mentioned earlier.
Soon, the other teams also regrouped.
"Look, they're coming again!" someone shouted.
Everyone turned their heads and saw two Wind Riding Sky Eagles swooping down from opposite directions.
"Get ready!" Bai Liang warned the team. He wasn't sure if this was another feint, but if those eagles dared to come down again, they wouldn't leave unscathed!
Just as everyone prepared their magic, they realized the two eagles were still faking their attack.
At that moment, everyone's frustration reached its peak.
"I can't take this anymore! Even if I die, I won't let them have first place!" someone shouted angrily.
The others joined in, "Young Master Bai, we'll give you all our points—just eliminate us!"
They were utterly fed up. Song Jie had toyed with them for so long—they wanted to return the favor.
As Bai Liang was about to respond, he noticed something and frowned. "Wait... did you see Song Jie on that eagle just now?"
"Huh?" Dongfang Ming was startled. He had been watching the flight path, not who was riding the eagle.
They hadn't noticed—but the students watching on the big screen had seen it clearly. They wanted to scream and warn Bai Liang's team that Song Jie had already circled behind them!
But they could only watch helplessly.
Then, Song Jie completed his spell.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three Rapid Fire Blasts shot toward the group. The explosions sent people flying in all directions.
The entire viewing hall fell silent.
By the time Bai Liang and Dongfang Ming remembered that Song Jie could fly, it was already too late.
Blinding light flashed across the battlefield. Chaos erupted as no one could tell what was happening anymore.
While running, Song Jie continued to cast spells, giving them no chance to fight back.
"Don't scatter! Defend quickly!" Bai Liang roared, but his voice was drowned out in the chaos.
A feeling of helplessness rose in his chest.
Overhead, Mu Lei and Ding Yumian descended from their eagles, unleashing a general assault.
The opposing team was in complete disarray, and with Song Jie's interference, Mu Lei and Ding Yumian had full control of the battlefield.
Even when attacked, their Wind Riding Sky Eagles easily withstood the magic—they were too tough to bring down with a few spells.
The radiant explosions continued, scattering the formation even further.
Anyone caught within the blast radius couldn't even finish casting their magic.
With everyone so tightly packed, one Burst Spell could knock out multiple people at once.
Then, Song Jie summoned Little Green. Vines erupted from the ground, catching many off guard.
Watching from the big screen, the spectators' hearts sank—they already knew the outcome.
They lost.
Completely.
Teachers quickly intervened, ensuring the students' safety and treating the injured.
Within minutes, the team of over a hundred had been reduced to only a handful.
"We've lost," Bai Liang muttered, watching his teammates vanish one after another. The powerlessness in his heart grew stronger.
Song Jie alone could handle several mages at once—how could they hope to resist?
And by now, Song Jie's team's accumulated points had already surpassed half the total.
No matter what they did, it wouldn't change the result.
Bai Liang sighed, both unwilling and admiring at the same time.
He lowered his head and admitted, "I concede."
The big screen's camera was focused on him, so everyone heard it clearly.
The spectators went silent again.
No one had expected it—Song Jie had done the impossible once more.
He had created another miracle in Qing Campus.
Over a hundred opponents, and they couldn't even touch him.
It sounded unbelievable—but the proof was right before their eyes.
In the observation room, the teachers were full of praise for Song Jie.
They knew that if Song Jie had fought them head-on, he would have had no chance.
With so many enemies casting at once, only an Advanced-level Defense Mage could withstand that kind of barrage.
His clever tactics and adaptability won everyone's respect.
"Let's go," Dean Xiao said with a smile. "This Main Campus assessment is officially over."
He was deeply satisfied with Song Jie's performance.
At the battlefield, healing mages and teachers had already arrived to treat the injured.
Mu Lei and Ding Yumian dismounted from their Wind Riding Sky Eagles and rushed to Song Jie.
"We won!" Mu Lei cheered, hugging him tightly.
Song Jie chuckled. "Look at you, acting like it's your first victory."
Beside them, Huang Xingli stood next to Ding Yumian, her eyes shining with excitement.
At that moment, she truly understood how important it was to follow the right person.
Mu He arrived shortly after. By the time he got there, the fight was already over.
So this is what it feels like to be carried to victory...
The defeated students, lying on the ground receiving treatment, no longer looked at Song Jie with resentment.
Instead, there was only relief in their eyes—they never wanted to face him again.
Dean Xiao and several teachers arrived soon after to check on the students' conditions.
"Their injuries aren't serious," a teacher reported. "Song Jie held back."
Dean Xiao nodded approvingly and approached Song Jie, patting him on the shoulder.
"Song Jie, you've given us another pleasant surprise."
"Our teachers will handle the rankings. You've all spent too much energy in this assessment—go rest."
He turned to Song Jie again. "Come find me tomorrow. I have something to discuss with you."
Song Jie nodded respectfully.
After exchanging a few words of praise, the teachers went to assist their own students.
Song Jie and his teammates, tired but uninjured, decided to leave the academy grounds.
"Let's eat!" Mu Lei grinned. "My treat!"
As they walked out of the school gate, a crowd of students surrounded them, staring intently.
Mu Lei whispered, "Song Jie, maybe I should stay a bit away from you... those eyes look like they could eat you alive."
Song Jie laughed and replied, "Mu Lei, if it weren't for your plan, we couldn't have taken them all down."
The nearby students' expressions darkened instantly.
Did this guy forget there's a camera on him?
Does he think we're fools!?
