"This is... how is this possible?!"
"We clearly applied sealing jutsu to ourselves—where did she absorb Chakra from?!"
Senju Sekito's eyes widened in disbelief, staring at the shocking scene unfolding before him.
Meanwhile, within the Uchiha Clan's territory, Uchiha Ran was kneeling on the ground. He had already performed a sealing jutsu on himself, yet its effect was almost nonexistent—his Chakra continued to drain away at a terrifying rate.
"Clan Leader! Help us!"
"Save me!"
Panicked cries erupted around him. The Uchiha clansmen screamed in terror as their Chakra was uncontrollably siphoned from their bodies.
"Damn it!"
Uchiha Ran cursed loudly, but with Hikari's Cursed Seal now fully released and her being so close, even his eye jutsu couldn't restrain her Eight Thousand Spears technique.
He could only watch helplessly as his clansmen's Chakra was drained dry—powerless to stop it.
Moments later, their bodies began to wither. Their skin turned ashen and dry, as though their very life force had been sucked out. Hollow eyes stared blankly into nothingness—lifeless and cold.
Every Uchiha marked by Hikari's Eight Thousand Spears that night died in agony.
Only Uchiha Ran survived—barely. His Chakra was almost completely drained, leaving him on the verge of death. Fortunately, the absorption eventually stopped.
On the battlefield, Hikari's transformation left everyone stunned.
Her Chakra surged violently—vast as an ocean, unrestrained as a storm. Blue lightning crackled around her, her long hair whipped wildly in the wind, and her silhouette blazed like a storm-born goddess in the rain.
"This… this Chakra!"
The Allied Shinobi stared in horror. Fear spread like wildfire as they began to retreat, desperate to escape the battlefield spiraling out of control.
"Boruto! Boruto! Boruto!"
Hikari's voice was raw and trembling. Her sanity was nearly gone, her heart consumed by one single thought—to see Boruto.
The power absorbed through the Eight Thousand Spears boiled within her body, pushing her forward like a raging tide. She charged straight toward Senju Sekito and the Allied forces.
At that moment, a dark red Susanoo erupted around her small frame. It instantly entered the third stage—but continued to expand even further.
This time, the Susanoo's form changed dramatically. Its legs took shape, its height soared to mountainous scale—and from its back grew a pair of colossal, dark red wings.
When those wings spread, they blotted out the sky.
"So big! How can it be that big?!"
"How can an Uchiha's Susanoo reach such a monstrous size?!"
The Allied Shinobi could only scream in disbelief. Against the backdrop of storm and lightning, that red-winged titan towered above them—its oppressive presence enough to crush hope itself.
Senju Sekito's face turned grim. The sheer pressure radiating from Hikari's Susanoo was overwhelming—like facing a god of destruction.
"Run! That's a monster!"
"Damn it! I knew we shouldn't have trusted the Senju Clan to fight the Uchiha weapon!"
Panic consumed the battlefield. The Allied Shinobi scattered in chaos, desperate to flee this nightmare.
But escape was impossible.
Hikari raised the Susanoo's enormous scythe and swung it with a roar.
Thunder and lightning exploded with the strike, the air itself tearing apart as the blade's energy split the heavens.
A single purple arc carved through the sky, leaving a blood-red trail in its wake.
The shockwave ripped the earth apart. Stones, mud, and blood rained down. Flesh and armor were torn to pieces—no one had time to scream.
When the storm of death subsided, a massive canyon stretched across the battlefield—deep and endless, spanning over ten kilometers.
After that attack, Hikari's Perfect Susanoo finally collapsed. The armor shattered, reverting to its skeletal form before crashing heavily to the ground. Blood splattered across the mud.
"Pfft—!"
Senju Sekito spat blood violently. His left arm had been ripped apart by the aftershock. Behind him lay a wasteland of corpses—bodies shredded beyond recognition.
He was the only one still alive among the Allied forces.
Stumbling backward, trembling, he muttered in despair, "No… I can't die. Not here. I can't die here!"
With that, Senju Sekito turned and fled once again—just as he had before.
He had never imagined that even uniting multiple clans and gathering such overwhelming power would still fail to defeat the Uchiha weapon.
Hikari's eyes followed him—cold, unfeeling.
She picked up a bloodstained sword from the ground and began her pursuit.
Rain poured harder as she walked, each step heavy and deliberate.
Senju Sekito stumbled through the mud, pain flaring from his wounds. But he didn't dare stop—not even for a second. He knew that if he did, death would catch him.
But Hikari moved faster. The Chakra she'd absorbed still roared within her. She became a streak of blue lightning, instantly closing the distance.
With one swing of her sword, a sharp blade of light tore through the air.
Sekito's eyes widened in horror. He tried to dodge—but his body felt like stone.
"No…"
The blade cleaved through him. Blood splattered across the mud.
Senju Sekito's body fell lifelessly into a pool of his own blood. Hikari stood over him, her expression empty, cold as winter rain.
She wiped the blood from her cheek as thunder rumbled overhead.
Then—footsteps.
She instantly turned, thrusting her sword toward the sound.
She was lost to bloodlust—ready to kill anything that moved.
"Little Hikari, it's me!"
Moon rushed in, having learned the Senju Clan and others had united to destroy the Uchiha weapon. But what she saw froze her heart.
Hikari didn't respond—her mind clouded by madness.
Moon dodged Hikari's attack in an instant, grabbing her wrist tightly and unleashing her Adamantine Sealing Chains.
Golden chains burst forth, binding Hikari in place.
"Little Hikari! Calm down! Look at me—it's Moon!"
Hikari struggled violently, eyes wild with rage and despair.
Moon's gaze softened. "Why… why is this world so cruel to a little girl? What did she ever do wrong?"
She pulled Hikari close, holding her trembling body tightly.
"Little Hikari, wake up. Didn't you say you wanted to find Boruto? He's still waiting for you."
Gradually, Hikari's resistance weakened. The madness in her eyes dimmed. Her lips trembled.
"Boruto… Mother…"
Her voice faded as she lost consciousness, tears slipping down her cheeks.
"Little Hikari…" Moon whispered, her heart breaking.
She lifted Hikari onto her back and walked away through the mud and ruins, heading toward the horizon.
"Is that her?"
At the Uzumaki Clan's territory, a middle-aged man with red hair and deep, wise eyes approached. His dark robes bore the mark of the Uzumaki Clan.
"Yes, Father," Moon replied softly.
The man examined Hikari's face closely, his expression turning distant.
"…Indeed… very similar."
He sighed and retrieved an ornate jade pendant from his robes, handing it to Moon before silently walking away.
Moon took the pendant and entered the Clan's forbidden area. Behind a heavy stone door lay a massive bronze coffin.
She slowly lifted the lid and gently placed the unconscious Hikari inside.
But at that moment—Hikari's eyes flickered open.
She looked around, frightened and weak. "Mother…"
Moon smiled gently. "Little Hikari, I'm so happy to hear you call me that again."
"Listen," she continued softly, "the Boruto you're searching for might be from the future. I've studied the ancient texts—there's never been an Uzumaki with golden hair in this era. Perhaps… he's waiting for you in another time."
"The… future?" Hikari whispered, dazed.
"Yes." Moon nodded. "This era isn't kind to you, Hikari. It's full of hatred and prejudice. Your power—your existence—is seen as a threat. But I believe a time will come when the world can understand you."
"In that future, you'll be free. You can live without fear."
Moon gently touched Hikari's cheek. "This bronze coffin is sealed with an ancient Uzumaki time-space jutsu. Time stands still within it. When you awaken again, perhaps you'll arrive in the era where Boruto exists."
"There… you can start over. Live your life anew."
Hikari's expression softened. Though she didn't fully understand, she felt the warmth in her mother's words.
"Mother… thank you," she whispered weakly but firmly.
Moon smiled through her tears.
"May you find your own happiness in the world of the future."
