The young girl blinked in surprise.
She couldn't understand how this Beedrill had broken through the Combee blockade to appear right in front of her.

The swarm fell into chaos. But the Vespiquen, the undisputed ruler, let out a sharp cry.
The chaotic swarm calmed down and slowly parted, opening a path.
The girl looked down the path created by the bees.
First, she saw the ash-gray Annihilape charging at the front.
Annihilape swaggered through the swarm, gripping a struggling Combee in each hand. The more they struggled, the tighter it squeezed.
Vespiquen glared murderously at Annihilape. If it were just this one Pokémon, she would have ordered her swarm to tear it to pieces without hesitation.
But then her gaze swept past Annihilape to the majestic Electivire with its black and yellow stripes, the Ninetales with heterochromatic eyes shining in the darkness, and the Arbok at the rear whose gaze was as cold as an ice cellar.
Vespiquen's rage instantly turned into apprehension.
Especially with that unfathomable Beedrill hovering nearby, emitting an aura of despair.
Her apprehension deepened into genuine fear.
The girl blinked, staring blankly at the young man walking through the swarm with his hands in his pockets, flanked by Electivire, Annihilape, Ninetales, and Arbok.
Kenji scanned the scene. He glanced at Vespiquen, then at the Dragonite behind the girl.
When he saw the Dragonite, his expression shifted slightly.

Kenji looked up at Vespiquen. "Leave, Vespiquen."

Vespiquen hissed, then turned and left without hesitation.
The massive swarm of Combee followed, buzzing away like a dark cloud.
Although Vespiquen was the only evolved Pokémon in the swarm, she was a top-tier ruler in this forest. At Level 82, combined with her swarm, she could fight anything below Champion level.
Unfortunately, against Kenji's Beedrill, ordinary Champions were just chickens waiting to be slaughtered.
