Amidst the fluttering feathers, Electivire was pinned beneath Hawlucha. But Hawlucha's arms were currently wrapped tight and controlled by Electivire's two tails.

Hawlucha clenched its fist and punched. Fighting-type energy swirled around its hand, creating a vortex with a slight pulling force.

Electivire raised its arm to block, countering with a Thunder Punch.
Hawlucha sidestepped, using its smaller stature to dodge the lightning fist.
But behind the fist, Electivire's two tails lashed out again, aiming to grab Hawlucha's legs.
Hawlucha was forced to abandon its attack and dodge the tails.
Electivire roared, throwing punch after punch while its tails constantly snapped at Hawlucha's limbs, trying to restrict its movement.
If Hawlucha's mobility was compromised, its strength would be cut in half.
Boosted by Thunder Armor, Electivire matched Hawlucha in speed and power, despite the level gap. In fact, it was slightly stronger.
With the constant harassment from the tails, Hawlucha, despite its exquisite martial arts, looked increasingly ragged under the relentless assault.

With the armor gone, Hawlucha no longer hesitated. It performed a beautiful side-step, executing a reactive Circle Throw. Its claws grabbed Electivire's arm, intending to slam the electric beast into the ground.
But just as Electivire was being flipped, its body suddenly went limp. Instead of resisting, it flowed with Hawlucha's momentum, accelerating its own fall.
Then, just before impact, Electivire suddenly exerted force. Its two tails slammed into the ground for leverage. Using the momentum Hawlucha had given it, Electivire grabbed Hawlucha's claws and slammed it into the ground instead.
THUD!!!! —
"Elec-bzzzt!!! —"
"Haaawl!!! —"
With a heavy thud, Hawlucha smashed into the floor, crying out in pain.
Electivire didn't rest. Following up instantly, it drove a Thunder Punch straight into Hawlucha's chest.
BAM!
After the punch landed, Electivire slowly stood up.
"What!!! —"
Yun Erdun's eyes widened in disbelief at the sudden turn of events.
The technique Electivire just used to avoid being thrown... was the exact same "Force Redirection" technique Hawlucha had used earlier!!
Yun Erdun was certain Electivire didn't know any martial arts at the start of the battle. Otherwise, it wouldn't have struggled so much initially.
Which meant... Electivire had learned the technique during the fight.

Yun Erdun recalled Hawlucha. Taking a deep breath, he pulled another Poké Ball from his belt and threw it.
"Come out!!! Charizard!!!"

A red, Western-style dragon Pokémon appeared on the field, roaring as it spewed a pillar of fire into the sky.
