Naya took a moment to let Noah words sink in before she spoke again.
She looked at Noah through the video call with a gaze that was both sympathetic and bracingly honest. "Noah, listen to me. Since you have already decided to give up on him completely and move out, that means you cannot expect him to be nice to you anymore."
"Expecting anything from him, even something as small as basic niceness, means you still want him to see you as someone important."
"It means you still like him and you still want him to keep you in his thoughts. You just have to give him some time and space. I am sure that after all the dust settles from this argument, you two will eventually be able to be polite to each other as acquaintances."
