Either by adrenaline or the absurdity of the situation, I cackled like an insane person, as in, in a way that would have embarrassed me in front of anyone I actually respected.
My legs carried me at a full sprint down the first corridor I could find, and I had absolutely no intention of slowing down.
To be perfectly fair about my situation, the moment I had teleported into the castle perimeter, a good number of flaming guardians had manifested from thin air with the clear and singular intent of reducing me to cinders.
They were impressive, as far as conjured infernal things go. But engaging them would have been a spectacular waste of my time, and I had very little of that to spare!
The real problem was everything closing in from the outside.
