Yue liang,
she was there, in the middle of the hall seated on a sofa. The lights were just turned on by wanwan and seeing her sitting like that at the middle of the night, kind of surprised her,
"Yueyue?" She went closer to her, yueyue was sitting with the chin resting on her hand,
"What are you doing here?" She asked reasonably.
Yue came to her senses, out of the drowsiness.
"I was waiting for you" She replied back, adjusting herself on the sofa.
"Waiting for me? Why?" wanwan asked,
"Didn't i tell you to just hold on till the night?" Yue asked her back,
"Oh yah....., I forget about that"
"So now we have to figure out what we are going to do ?" Yue said to her,
Upon saying that, she turned silent, waiting for wan ting to continue but she also remained quiet.
"I think that, " Wan ting paused before adding,
"That we might have travelled to a novel, game or something like that"
Yue gave it a thought, then concluded,
"No game or novel would have our personally known people as characters, unless.." She thought
"unless it made by someone who knowns them" Wanwan completed yue's words.
"So?, now what. Are we going to act as we wish, completely forgetting that we are humans who have their own family" She added on.
"So for now, we'll just act as the one before us until one of us has found something important" Yue liang said.
She looked at her for her approval, but wan ting didn't react.
"Want some water?" Yue liang asked seeing wan ting constantly looking at the empty jar of water,
"Yeah" She replied,
Yue liang stood up from her place, went towards the back, disappearing into the darkness.
Wan ting watched her back until it was fully submerged into the darkness, she looked back towards the empty jar on the table and began to think about her life.
A not-so-carefree life of hers turned to a mess overnight, well to be precise ㅡin a day.
Yueyue came back with a glass of water, and sat beside her. Wanwan took the glass of water from her hand and placed it on the table.
She rested her head on yueyue's shoulder, to which yueyue started to comfort her,
"Don't worry, everything will be alright"
After some time, wan ting and yue liang both went to sleep. Yue liang lifted her blanket and found the space beside her empty, she looked around for him in the room, then suddenly a voice came from the bathroom.
She understood where was he, and went back to sleep.
Meanwhile inside the bathroom,
Jiang chen was in front of the mirror, as he stared at his own reflection,
"Game or novel?" He questioned himself.
The sun has risen over the horizon, it was the time for the newlyweds to wake up.
The husbands of the house were the first ones to rise, jiang chen was already sitting on the dining table.
He was looking fresh, wearing a white t-shirt and a beige trouser, silently drinking juice. Until a voice of footsteps coming from the stairs diverted his attention, It was jiang yu, who was scratching his head while his eyes were barely open. His gaze fell onto his brother at the table,
"Already up, so early in the morning?"
He asked her, while sitting opposing him.
"It's 7'o clock" Jiang chen replied,
Jiang yu gave him a " I know that" look, and changed the topic.
"By any chance, are you feeling like you are at heavens?"
He asked enthusiasticly, teasing him.
Jiang chen looked disgustingly at him,
Until the stairs started to make a noise once again,
Both the wives were walking back to back with their eyes being slightly open for them to see.
Yue liang was in front followed by wan ting, she turned towards the kitchen and began pouring water in two glasses.
She handed a glass to wan beside her and drank the other herself. While drinking, she turned around and saw both of them seated at the dining table.
Her eyes widened and she choked on the water, realizing what she just did.
Wanwan quickly placed her glass at the kitchen and began to caress her back, her gaze also fell at the men on the dining table.
She realised, they way they acted right now was extraordinary for them. They didn't knew how the previous version of themselves use to behave, how was their relationship and most importantly did they even knew each other?
But explaining would make things worse. So both of them just went to the dining table and sat there, without saying anything.
Jiang Yu got up and bought two more glasses of juice from the refrigerator, placing it in front of the two.
"Did you sleep well?" Jiang yu asked,
Wan ting nodded in response, and began drinking the juice.
"Do you want to rest today or go out ?" Jiang chen asked looking at yue liang, who was sitting beside him.
"I kind of feel tired, so i'll pass" She replied,
And the silence took over.
The besties now were inside yueyue's room discussing,
"I looked up online, we are still what we used to be. I am a manager, and you are a writer"
Yue said to wan ting,
"Then probably, all of this is real and we are turning into idiots." Wan replied sarcastically,
All of this conversation was being heard by the jiang brothers, who were sitting on the sofa.
"This is what i meant" Jiang chen said, holding his mobile phone from which the conversation was being heard.
"So basically, they think that they are into a game or something?" Jiang yu analysed.
To which, jiang chen nodded,
Another voice came from the mobile phone,
" Wan ting, If all of this is real, then it's more scary because that can mean anything" Yue added on, taking a pause,
"We could be idiots, or someone who has lost there memories or even hallucinating or maybe even dead."
She placed emphasise on her last word.
