I put on a jacket and was just about to call Danny to pick me up when I heard a knock at the door.
Ashley Taylor?
That was my first reaction.
I opened the door, only to see a burly man in a duckbill cap.
"Guild Master."
The man's voice was deep.
It was clearly Daniel Johnson.
I hurriedly invited Daniel inside, surprised, "Why are you here?"
Daniel took off his hat and said with some respect, "I was supposed to meet the Guild Master yesterday, but some matters delayed me."
"That's not what I mean. I asked why you're here today? Has something happened?" I said, "We'd better meet less often; anything can be discussed over the phone."
Daniel nodded and continued, "I understand! But since the Guild Master is here, I must fulfill my duty as a host."
"Please, Guild Master, join me at The Aegis Tower. The brothers all want to meet you!"
During this time spent together, I realized that Daniel's most potent force had yet to be revealed!
