I got out of the taxi, ready to head back to The Grandview Apartments. I wasn't sure if Sarah Moore had returned; I hadn't been able to reach her, and I couldn't help but feel a little worried.
Just as I was about to walk through the main entrance of the neighborhood, a glaring light shot over accompanied by a few sharp honks, clearly indicating someone wanted me to go over.
I frowned slightly, vaguely noticing a woman in the driver's seat. I ignored her and continued towards The Grandview Apartments.
Though I couldn't discern the figure in the car, I was sure it couldn't be Sarah Moore.
Inside the car was actually Jessica Brown. There was a last-minute group meeting tonight, requiring all executives to attend, but she discovered that even after the meeting had ended, Sarah Moore hadn't shown up or answered her phone.
She sensed something was off; ever since Sarah Moore joined the company, she had never been late or left early even once.
