At night, after spending the entire day outside, Tsunade finally calmed down and stayed indoors.
After dinner, it was time for Uchiha Arata to seek Tsunade's guidance in medical ninjutsu.
To be honest, Arata had invested a great deal of effort into studying medical ninjutsu. After all, it was an essential survival skill for his future plans. Once he left Konoha, no matter where he went, doctors would always be respected and valued.
During their discussion, Shizune was politely sent away to rest. Tsunade also knew that there were certain matters Shizune should not be aware of.
Before leaving, Tsunade left a short note for Shizune, saying that she had gone out briefly, to avoid unnecessary panic if Shizune returned and found both of them missing.
When everything was prepared, Tsunade and Arata exchanged glances and nodded. Without waiting for Arata to guide her, Tsunade directly activated the spatial mark on her body with chakra and disappeared into the space.
Arata watched Tsunade vanish and shook his head helplessly before entering the space as well.
When Uchiha Arata arrived, Tsunade was already standing by the shore, gazing at the distant sea. The ocean breeze gently lifted her long hair, causing it to sway softly in the wind.
Arata quietly observed the scene, unwilling to disturb this rare moment of tranquility.
After standing there for some time, Tsunade turned to look at Arata and said softly, "Your space is a wonderful place for retirement. No one will ever disturb you here."
Arata met her gaze and replied deeply, "If you like it, then this place also belongs to you."
Hearing this, Tsunade did not answer directly. Instead, she turned back toward the sea and said, "I agree to what you said, but you must give me time. Give me time to accept everything."
Her voice remained calm, as if she were speaking about someone else's affairs, yet the faint redness of her ears betrayed her emotions.
Arata couldn't help but smile at her attempt to appear composed, though he refrained from teasing her, lest she become embarrassed.
He stepped forward, gently took her hand, and said, "Alright. I'll wait for you."
Tsunade felt a jolt of nervousness when Arata grasped her hand. For a moment, she thought he intended to do something improper. Though she knew she couldn't resist, her heart slowly sank—until she heard his gentle words. Her tension eased, and she allowed him to hold her hand as they stood together, gazing at the distant scenery.
By the time they came back to themselves, a long while had passed. They exchanged smiles, feeling noticeably closer than before.
Arata tightened his hold on Tsunade's hand and said, "Sister Tsunade, there's something else I need to tell you."
Tsunade looked at him in confusion.
Coughing lightly, Arata said, "Sister Tsunade, I still have another pupil technique."
Tsunade's eyes widened in shock. She stared at him in disbelief. The records passed down through the Senju clan clearly stated that once the Uchiha awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, they would gain one or two powerful or bizarre eye techniques. Yet Arata already possessed several. How many more could he possibly have?
However, she also understood that pupil techniques and secret arts were deeply personal trump cards. Even between husband and wife, certain secrets had to be protected, as they were tied directly to one's survival.
Thus, although Tsunade realized that Arata must be hiding an extraordinary secret, she did not press further. Since he had brought it up, he clearly intended to tell her something. She asked, "What do you want to say?"
Looking straight into her eyes, Arata replied, "Sister Tsunade, my pupil technique can copy certain bloodline limits. Can I copy yours?"
In truth, Arata did not need Tsunade's permission. But after his previous experience fusing the Uzumaki bloodline, which had nearly broken him from the pain, he wanted her informed in advance.
Having a medical master beside him would also make the process far safer.
He explained his concerns, and now that they were on the same side, Tsunade naturally patted her chest and agreed without hesitation.
Once everything was prepared, Arata opened his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. Fixing his gaze upon Tsunade, he activated the pupil technique — Eye of Replication.
Because his Sharingan had already reached its highest form, the copying process was completed swiftly.
Next came the most critical step.
After taking a deep breath, Arata commanded, "Fusion."
Instantly, countless invisible fragments of information surged into his body, merging with him in a way that defied comprehension.
At first, Arata felt a warm current flow through his veins. Then the warmth intensified, expanding rapidly and doubling again and again.
Soon, it felt as though his body were being roasted and tempered in raging flames, as if he were about to be burned alive. Unable to endure the pain, he let out a hoarse scream.
Tsunade frowned as she looked at Arata collapsed on the ground. His entire body had turned red, curled up like a cooked prawn.
She reached out and carefully tested his temperature. His body heat far exceeded that of a normal person. If it were anyone else, they would have already been burned to death.
Tsunade did not dare relax. She continuously monitored Arata's vital signs.
Her medical instincts told her that the longer this ordeal lasted, the greater the benefits would be.
With her skills, she was confident she could save him before his body collapsed completely.
