Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: Extermination

Inside the Konoha Northern Command Center, the moment sensors picked up that Uchiha Rokuro had been ambushed by five top-tier powerhouses, the report was immediately relayed.

After some thought, Nara Shikaku ordered Yamanaka Inoichi to summon Uchiha Izumi back.

"Commander Rokuro is the key to this entire war. Nothing can be allowed to happen to him. Back then, when he teamed up with Uchiha Izumi, they wiped out hundreds of jōnin. If the two join forces again, they can break this stalemate."

"But Shikaku… if we pull Uchiha Izumi back, what about the Grass Country front?"

Shikaku waved his hand dismissively.

"Judging from everything so far, Iwagakure and Kumogakure clearly planned this ambush long before the war even started. The Grass Country attack is just a feint. Even if shifting Izumi causes us to lose that battlefield, it doesn't matter. As long as we defeat Ōnoki and the Fourth Raikage's group here, the final victory is still ours."

Shikaku snorted coldly.

"When the Land of Lightning launched their multi-point breakthrough tactic, I already suspected foul play. So when Izumi headed to the front, I sent Shiranui Genma's three-man unit to set up a Flying Thunder God Formation. Inoichi—tell Uchiha Izumi she can use their formation to instantly jump to the Hot Water Country battlefield and relieve Commander Rokuro!"

Kumo has strategists like Mabui, but Konoha has Shikaku, whose tactical ability is equal—if not superior. Strategy-games were never something he lost.

Yamanaka Inoichi immediately contacted Uchiha Izumi with his clan's secret jutsu, explaining the situation and informing her of Rokuro's crisis.

But after a long communication, Inoichi suddenly froze in shock.

"Shikaku… Uchiha Izumi refused."

"Huh? What do you mean? She refuses to rescue Commander Rokuro?!"

Shikaku was stunned. In his understanding, Izumi and Rokuro were essentially childhood sweethearts—the closest relationship in the entire northern force.

Why would she leave him to die now? Did the couple get into a fight?

Shikaku's mind immediately ran wild, recalling all kinds of melodramatic teen-drama plots—cheating, secret heartbreak, love triangles…

But then he remembered—they were only eleven years old. Even early bloomers don't get that dramatic.

"Could it be… they fought over snacks? A toy?"

Before his imagination spiraled further, Inoichi delivered the real answer:

"Uchiha Izumi said: 'Three Jinchūriki and two Kage are nowhere near enough to threaten Commander Rokuro. Even if I went there, I'd just be eating popcorn on the sidelines. It's better for me to stay in the Grass Country and crush the Iwa army in one stroke.

Trust Rokuro's strength—this is his chance to end the war in one blow.'"

"Shikaku, should we force her to return?"

Shikaku thought, then shook his head.

"Izumi has awakened the Mangekyō as well. She knows Rokuro's power better than anyone. If she says he can handle a five-on-one, then he can.

If someone on another battlefield can trust Rokuro, then so can we."

"Order every Konoha shinobi to launch a full assault. Hit Kumo's main camp—end this war in one strike!"

Shikaku didn't hesitate. He changed the entire battle plan and launched the final offensive.

Over a thousand Konoha shinobi immediately stormed the Kumo camp. The decisive battle began.

Meanwhile, on Rokuro's side…

Uchiha Rokuro didn't know about Shikaku's plan—but he knew one thing:

If he eliminated the five enemies before him, Kumogakure and the entire Land of Lightning would collapse. Even without a Konoha offensive, Kumo would retreat… or surrender.

So all he needed to do was kill these five.

Thunder rumbled as Ōnoki, using the last of his chakra, summoned a stone giant the size of Rokuro's Susanoo—stronger than the one he used during the Fourth War in canon.

The rock giant clashed with Susanoo, grappling arm-to-arm.

The Fourth Raikage also gave everything he had, turning into a living bolt of lightning, hammering Susanoo's knees over and over

It looked ridiculous, but it worked: he limited Susanoo's mobility, preventing Rokuro from blitzing all five enemies individually.

While the two Kage stalled Susanoo, three Bijū lined up together, gathering chakra into a super-massive Tailed Beast Bomb.

"Die!"

The hundred-meter-wide Bijūdama roared toward Susanoo.

Rokuro shattered the stone giant and the Raikage disengaged, fleeing out of the blast radius.

"That's your strongest attack? Not bad.

In that case… I'll also use my full power. Otherwise you won't die with peace of mind."

The left-hand blade of Susanoo vanished; Susanoo gripped a single enormous sword with both hands.

Rokuro's seven-pointed Mangekyō spun wildly.

The eighty-meter sword in Susanoo's hands was enveloped in a new layer of chakra—a black base shimmering with cosmic starlight.

The Dimensional Blade.

Just like Kakashi's Susanoo combining with Kamui during the Fourth War, Mangekyō abilities can fuse with Susanoo—multiplying power dozens of times.

Rokuro did the same: Susanoo unleashed the Susanoo Dimensional Blade.

No sound.

No shockwave.

No collision.

The blade sliced the giant Bijūdama like a hot knife through butter.

It exploded in hundreds of fragments—far too diluted to crack Susanoo.

In the sea of flames, Susanoo flashed forward, appearing before the Five-Tails Muō.

A hundred slashes in a second.

Sonic-speed cuts.

Muō could not dodge—could not even react—before its entire body was diced into hundreds of pieces.

Blood rained down.

Through the crimson storm, Rokuro locked onto the Five-Tails' Jinchūriki, Han, the red-armored man with barely any presence in the canon story.

The eighty-meter blade swung

Han became minced meat.

Bijū might survive being chopped apart.

Jinchūriki do not.

"One."

Before the blood hit the ground, Susanoo rushed the Two-Tails.

The Matatabi dodged—but too slowly.

It attempted a giant fireball in desperation.

The Dimensional Blade erased it instantly.

"Two!"

Both Matatabi and its Jinchūriki, Yugito Nii, were shredded in an instant—another storm of blood.

"BROOOO!!!"

Killer B panicked. As a perfect Jinchūriki, he was far stronger than Han or Yugito… but Rokuro's Susanoo was on another tier entirely.

He attacked with all eight tails and both fists

At the same time, the Fourth Raikage charged in again, this time leaping high and aiming at Rokuro's true body hidden in Susanoo's forehead.

"Three!!!"

Nothing changed.

The eight tails, two fists, and then Gyūki's entire body were severed instantly.

Killer B was diced apart.

And because the Raikage committed fully to his strike—no dodging—Rokuro's real body cleaved him in half with the Dimensional Blade.

One clean decapitation.

No suspense.

No substitution jutsu.

No escape.

Within seconds, four of the five had died.

Ōnoki stared in disbelief.

Susanoo turned toward him—he screamed and fled.

He could fly, and normally he would be impossible to catch… but he had burned nearly all his chakra on the rock giant. His flight speed plummeted.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Susanoo gave chase—far faster, far longer-lasting.

A single downward cut.

Ōnoki begged for his life.

It didn't matter.

He too became minced meat, merging with the Bijū gore below.

Five vs. one

became

zero survivors.

The battlefield froze.

Uchiha Meika roared:

"THE UCHIHA ARE INVINCIBLE!

CHARGE! SLAUGHTER EVERY LAST KUMO DOG!"

Morale skyrocketed; Kumo's will shattered.

Within thirty minutes, the battle ended.

Rokuro never struck again—using full-body Susanoo to kill ordinary ninjas would be absurd, let alone the Dimensional Blade.

"No wonder in the Fourth War, the Gokage lost their will to fight when facing Madara's Complete Body Susanoo. The difference is too insane.

I wonder… could I beat Pain's Six Paths right now?"

After thinking, Rokuro nodded inwardly.

"With no intel? Probably fifty-fifty. With my space-time jutsu, I can disengage at any time, so I'm unkillable.

And with my knowledge of the original timeline… I know the key is to kill the Hell Path first."

"Unless Nagato magically regains his legs and uses all Rinnegan abilities himself… he can't beat me."

News of Rokuro's victory reached the command center immediately.

Shikaku exhaled deeply—knowing the northern war was over.

"Send the battle report back to Konoha and request strategic orders."

Messenger animals carried it—fast enough despite the distance.

A few minutes later, Tsunade received the report.

"He defeated three Jinchūriki and two Kage… alone?

So this is the power of the Mangekyō…"

Her expression tightened.

Homura and Koharu exchanged glances—and began whispering poison.

"His power rivals Uchiha Madara. And the Senju Clan no longer has another First Hokage. Tsunade… you must be cautious."

Koharu hissed.

Homura played the "good cop":

"Koharu, don't be harsh. I think Rokuro has strong Will of Fire. He even willingly relinquished the Hokage seat, after all."

The two geezers alternated yin-yang provocation.

Tsunade slammed the table.

"We are in wartime. I will not tolerate divisive voices inside the village.

If the two of you cannot set an example…

then perhaps you should retire."

"Tsu–Tsunade! We're only thinking of your best interests!"

Koharu snapped.

Homura sighed dramatically.

"Koharu… we are relics of an older era. There is no place for us on the ship of the new age.

Come. Retirement is peaceful enough."

Homura turned to leave. Utatane Koharu huffed indignantly and followed.

The farther the two walked, the slower their pace became, as if waiting—hoping—for Tsunade to call them back.

But even when they reached the doorway of the Hokage's office, Tsunade still said nothing.

Now the two elders panicked.

They spun around—only to find Tsunade watching them with open, unabashed mockery.

"Tsunade! Are you really going to be this ruthless?!"

Tsunade folded the war report neatly, her expression cold as she stared at the two advisors.

"I am my own person, and my teacher was my teacher.

Maybe when you were partners to the old man Sarutobi, you often acted on whatever you believed was right.

But now? I don't agree with your methods at all.

Enough. Go home. What comes next is none of your concern."

Seeing Tsunade speak with such finality, Homura and Koharu grew furious—and strangely desolate.

"Tsunade! You'll regret this!"

Tsunade almost replied, "I'm the Hokage—why would I?"

Fortunately she wasn't Sarutobi Hiruzen, and didn't have his habit of dramatic catchphrases.

She simply watched the two elders walk out.

Once those two old burdens were gone, Tsunade opened the war report again and read it slowly from the beginning.

She wasn't present at the battlefield, but she knew exactly what "three Jinchūriki and two Kage" meant.

Those five alone were enough to wipe out an entire nation.

Even with all of Konoha working together, defeating such a lineup would demand a nightmarish price.

Just a few years ago, a single Tailed Beast had nearly destroyed the village and taken a Hokage's life.

Yet such an overwhelmingly powerful formation had been annihilated by one teenage Uchiha boy—swiftly, effortlessly.

The shock left Tsunade unable to calm down.

For a moment, she remembered the day Uchiha Rokuro asked to study the First Hokage's cells.

Back then, she lashed out—not just to test him, but out of genuine anger.

Senju Hashirama was Tsunade's hero—the person she revered most.

How could she possibly desecrate her own grandfather's body?

But now…

Tsunade sank into deep conflict and thinking—and finally reached a conclusion:

"Uchiha Rokuro's eyes aren't ordinary Mangekyō.

They're an Eternal Mangekyō—just like Uchiha Madara's."

She wasn't the only one to reach that conclusion.

Obito had received the information even earlier—Black Zetsu had witnessed everything on site.

"Zetsu… what's going on?

Didn't you say Uchiha Rokuro only had a normal Mangekyō?

How could a normal Mangekyō have power like this?"

White Zetsu scratched at his hair, confused.

"Well… Black Zetsu said only Madara had an Eternal Mangekyō.

Could it be this Uchiha Rokuro is Madara's reincarnation?"

Obito froze.

As the successor to Madara's will, he understood perfectly well that chakra could reincarnate.

If Rokuro truly was Madara's reincarnation, everything suddenly made sense.

"Whether he's Madara reborn or not…

right now, he's our biggest problem."

Obito looked toward the east coast of the Land of Fire, where the battle against Kirigakure was still deadlocked.

The high-level forces on both sides were evenly matched.

Without Sage Mode, Jiraiya was only slightly stronger than the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura.

But once Jiraiya entered Sage Mode, Yagura would retreat onto the open sea, using the terrain to neutralize their gap.

The rest of the Mist-nin followed similar tactics.

Thus, the east-coast battles were always like this:

first half on land, second half at sea.

Konoha dominated on land thanks to the Byakugan.

But at sea, their advantage collapsed.

They didn't dare pursue aggressively—and so the two sides dragged on, neither able to break the stalemate.

In one corner of the battlefield, Kakashi had just killed a Mist jōnin with Raikiri.

Continuous combat had nearly emptied his chakra.

Just as he prepared to fall back, Obito appeared before him—launching a fierce, relentless assault.

Kakashi could barely defend.

Their strength gap was massive; without mastering Kamui, Kakashi had no hope of fighting Obito evenly.

And now his chakra was nearly gone.

Within barely a minute, a kunai pierced him—gravely wounding him.

Before he could fall, Obito reached out, thrust his hand into Kakashi's left eye socket, and dug out the Sharingan.

"AAAHHH!"

Kakashi screamed.

Hyūga Taiki rushed in to save him, launching an Eight Trigrams Vacant Palm.

But it passed straight through Obito—his intangibility ignoring the attack as it pulverized the ground behind him.

"Kakashi…

you don't deserve this eye.

It belongs to the Uchiha."

Before leaving, Obito deliberately activated his own Sharingan, openly revealing that he was an Uchiha.

Then he vanished into Kamui.

Under the pressure created by Rokuro, Obito finally took a step he never took in the original timeline

he reclaimed his left eye.

He now possessed both Kamui Sharingan.

That night, news of Rokuro killing the Fourth Raikage and the Third Tsuchikage reached Jiraiya.

He sighed—then understood:

The war was ending.

Three nations had surrounded Konoha.

Now, two had fallen.

What was the Land of Water going to fight with?

If they didn't surrender, Uchiha Rokuro would simply march over.

Once Konoha's two fronts united, the Water Country faced annihilation.

Indeed, the next day, the Land of Water withdrew—and immediately sent envoys seeking to end the war.

Everyone knew the rule:

He who requests a ceasefire first loses the negotiation.

And in this situation, the Land of Water wasn't just at a disadvantage—

they didn't even have the right to decide whether the war ended.

That choice now rested entirely with Konoha.

On the Hot Water Country front, after yesterday's decisive clash, the Hidden Cloud army was shattered.

Of three thousand ninjas, fewer than five hundred escaped.

The rest were dead or captured—including A's famous beauty-secretary, Mabui.

Hearing this, Rokuro even went to take a look at her.

Upon learning that the entire ambush plan had been crafted by Mabui, Uchiha Meika asked Rokuro:

"Commander Rokuro—should we execute her?"

Rokuro waved a hand lightly.

"Meika-san, killing someone so sharp-minded would be far too wasteful."

Meika assumed Rokuro was bewitched by her beauty and opened his mouth to advise him otherwise—after all, the Uchiha clan hardly lacked attractive women.

But Rokuro cut him off:

"You're worried that letting her live is letting a tiger return to the mountain—that she'll become our enemy again, right?

You're overthinking it.

She won't ever have that chance."

Meika frowned.

"That's not certain. With her status, there's a good chance she'll be repatriated. And if she is—then—"

"Repatriated?

To where?

Do you think I'll allow the existence of the Hidden Cloud Village?"

Meika's face changed.

He understood the underlying meaning immediately.

Rokuro continued:

"Two Jinchūriki—dead.

Even their Kage died by my hand.

After yesterday's full assault, Cloud's high-level strength is nine-tenths gone.

Tell me—how can what remains possibly uphold the title of a 'Five Great Village'?"

Under Meika's stunned gaze, Rokuro smiled coldly.

"No matter what Konoha decides…

the Land of Lightning is already our Uchiha clan's piece of the pie."
