Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Bumper Car Battle

The next day, the group arrived at their private amusement park.

That's right, it was completely reserved for them.

At Satoru's request, the entire park had been closed to the public for the day.

All the staff were there solely to serve them, and everything was free of charge.

Haibara had already taken off with his sister, leaving the rest at the entrance to decide where to start.

"The Ferris wheel here has a great view. Want to check it out, Saber?"

Ieiri Shoko clearly didn't want to join the boys.

She had a feeling these guys would absolutely cause trouble if let loose.

Maybe it had to do with the environment she grew up in.

Although Shoko had a lively and willful side, she always carried a subtle sense of detachment when dealing with others.

It wasn't that she kept her distance. She simply preferred to stand on the sidelines and watch when things got chaotic.

But once the chaos threatened to drag her in, she would quietly slip away.

Shoko: I like watching the fun, but I don't want to become the fun.

The Ferris wheel matched her mood perfectly.

She could enjoy a peaceful ride while watching the others from up high.

"What's so fun about slow stuff like that? If we're going to play, let's try these instead."

Satoru held up a flyer.

Roller coasters, bungee jumping, bumper cars, haunted houses.

"No."

Playing any of those with Satoru would definitely be a nightmare.

"Ah, are you scared, Shoko? What about Saber, are you going to run away too?"

Knowing Shoko wouldn't rise to the bait, Satoru turned his attention to Artoria instead.

Artoria frowned. That mischievous tone and smile reminded her of someone unpleasant.

There had once been a white-haired man who hid a sword in a staff and liked to provoke her.

"Oh? Is Ria going to give up?"

Artoria clenched her fist slightly.

"Is this a challenge? I accept."

Her tone was serious.

And so, scenes that made the staff's hearts nearly leap from their chests began to unfold.

On the roller coaster, Suguru clung to Satoru's waist, eye twitching, as the two recreated the Titanic pose.

Not to be outdone, Artoria and Eichi struck the same pose in the next car.

At the bungee jump platform, Satoru snatched the rope from a staff member.

"It's fine, my neck is really strong."

Under the horrified gaze of the staff, he tied the rope around his neck and leapt.

Swaying mid-air, he began to sing and dance, turning the bungee jump into a wild execution stage.

"I knew this would happen."

Below the platform, Shoko tended to the manager, who had fainted from shock thanks to Satoru.

This manager had been warned that the sons and daughters of powerful families were coming today, and everything had to go perfectly. A single mistake could cost him his job.

But how was he supposed to manage people like this?

He was done. Let it all collapse.

And so, he passed out.

Soon, the group arrived at the third attraction.

Bumper cars.

Bang.

Bang.

With Satoru's antics, the ride quickly devolved into chaos.

"Not bad, Saber."

Satoru grinned at Artoria.

"I possess Riding skill. A simple bumper car is nothing to me."

Artoria replied with a serious expression.

She was naturally competitive.

She could accept being defeated in a fair match.

But not by Satoru. She absolutely refused to lose to this white-haired prankster.

Battle intent burned in her eyes.

Outside the bumper car arena, Eichi and Suguru, who had slipped out of the clash between Artoria and Satoru, were casually circling the edge in their own cars.

"I don't know if it's just me, but Saber seems to hold a real grudge against Satoru."

Suguru watched the clash with interest.

"It's not your imagination."

Eichi confirmed.

"She probably sees her teacher in him."

"Merlin, the legendary mage?"

"Exactly."

Eichi nodded.

Suguru looked surprised.

Merlin was a globally famous mage, the mentor who trained King Arthur.

Satoru reminded her of him?

Suguru recalled what Eichi had said on the cruise.

Satoru will become the strongest spicy teacher in the future.

"Did I misjudge Satoru? Does he actually have teaching talent?"

Suguru murmured in disbelief.

"Pfft."

Eichi couldn't hold back a laugh.

"What?"

Suguru gave him a puzzled look. Didn't you just say Satoru was like Merlin?

"Nothing, nothing. But just imagine. If you were a student, and that big white cat kept pulling pranks on you every day in the name of 'teaching,' and the moment class ended, he disappeared... what would you do?"

"...Find a chance to beat him up."

"Now you understand why Ria holds such a grudge."

Suguru: "..."

As the two were discussing Merlin and Satoru, new developments exploded in the arena.

"This is getting boring."

Bumper cars might be fun for normal people, but for them, it was far too tame.

"Yosh, let's spice it up."

An idea popped into Satoru's head, and he immediately acted on it.

"Saber~, I'm going all out. Try not to get knocked flying."

As Satoru spoke, a red glow radiated from his white bumper car.

"Hmph, worry about yourself."

Seeing Satoru's movement, Artoria surged with Cursed Energy.

"Invisible Air."

In the next moment, silver armor formed around her bumper car.

Boom.

A violent gust and repulsive force exploded where their cars collided.

Nanami and Shoko, who had been relaxing nearby, were instantly blown away.

"Very impressive."

Satoru's voice held a trace of arrogance.

"You're not bad yourself."

Artoria responded calmly.

Their cars swerved, passing each other again.

"Cough, cough, Satoru is messing around again."

Suguru waved away the dust blowing his way.

"Let's move back."

Eichi steered toward the edge of the arena.

"Don't think you can escape~"

Satoru raised his left hand toward them.

Cursed Technique Reversal: Blue.

A powerful suction force dragged the two back into the fray.

"Hehe, I'm coming~ Invincible Gojo, charge!"

Red light flared again from his bumper car.

"This is bad!"

"Satoru?!"

Dark shadows emerged on Eichi's bumper car.

The vehicle instantly transformed, now clad in the armor of Piercing Ox.

Suguru's Cursed Energy surged, and the Special Grade Cursed Spirit Bone Woman entered his car, turning it into a bone-white war chariot.

Bang.

With a massive crash, everyone plunged into a chaotic melee.

After several rounds, Eichi quietly slipped out of the battle.

The wheels of the Piercing Ox war chariot spun at full speed, but the car barely moved.

He had created a treadmill-like shadow conveyor beneath it to charge power.

"Suguru!"

Eichi, having charged up for a while, seized an opening.

Suguru turned and instantly understood his plan.

The bone chariot collided head-on with Satoru's Invincible Gojo.

At the same time, Eichi canceled his shadow treadmill.

"Take this! Treadmill Piercing Ox!"

"You guys... don't forget about me!"

Artoria activated Invisible Air again and charged in.

"Ah ah ah!" x4

Rumble.

With a thunderous impact, the entire bumper car arena collapsed into a massive crater.

"How much... is this going to cost?"

Nanami, who had left early, trembled as he looked at the collapsed buildings and the ruined arena.

"It's fine. The civilians nearby were cleared out by Satoru in advance. And the park belongs to the Gojo Family. Do you think you'll have to pay?"

Right after Shoko finished, Satoru walked out of the crater without a scratch.

"Hey~ Shoko, Nanami, let's move on to the next activity."

Nanami: I want to escape, but I can't.

The next day, news reports stated that due to routine maintenance at X Amusement Park, a gas leak occurred because of improper handling by an intern. Residents were urged not to panic. Finally, the public was reminded to use gas safely.
