Hello my dear readers! I apologize for the massive wait. I've been extremely busy these last few months, however I will be coming back soon. I don't know how soon, but soon, like I've written in my Webnovel bio at least. I will never drop this book!
Even during the days I didn't write or add onto the story in my drafts, I was still thinking about it. The characters, the way I wrote them, and the story it embarks on. The rest of the world and dominions. The power levels and organizations. Pretty much everything.
I started this book or novel because I didn't want to do math homework, so I procrastinated enough to actually go ahead, make an account, and write. That's why the chapters are so short in the beginning. I had an idea in my head and said, "Write it now and fix it later." So basically, all I had planned for the book in my head was up to the point where Seventeen left the alley. From then on, it was pretty much just me writing and thinking only a few chapters ahead so I could keep going.
After a bit, I realized that if I continued like this, I wouldn't only be doing a disservice to the story I grew to enjoy, but also to my readers who actually put aside time to read what I wrote. So I want to thank you.
I pretty much stopped because I was busy with school and because I didn't want to keep writing without a plan ahead. So that's what I'm doing now. I'm expanding the rest of the Archian Archipelago and its characters. School is back, and I've come to be held accountable to newer things, so I'm pretty busy as of now. That doesn't mean I've dropped the book, just that I'm working on it when I can.
Although this book started as something based off the back of procrastination, I have truly enjoyed writing and creating this world. Because of that, I don't want to mess it up. This is my first book that I've actually published to the public, so bear with me in case I don't live up to your expectations, as I also hold myself to higher expectations.
Another thing I want to point out is that this story will not have a system or an overpowered cheat item. Although I do enjoy those types of books, I wanted to create something different. I've always loved characters in books and shows who are different, yet still find a way to be strong. That's something I want to create here. Seventeen will not suddenly gain a massive power boost out of nowhere. He will be forced to grit his teeth and crawl out from under greater powers overseen by gods and the world itself, just to survive and find out who he really is.
I hope you can have faith in my book and in me as you wait for my definite return!
