Dear Readers,
I hope you all liked this story.
This is my first completed book, and yes, I am completing this journey here.
Writing 100+ chapters with daily updates, maintaining consistency, and trying to give my best in every scene has been an unforgettable experience for me. This was not just about finishing a story. It was about discipline, growth, and believing in myself enough to keep going.
I have always wanted to write a story connected to real-world possibilities that feels relatable. I have read many beautiful and entertaining stories, but sometimes they felt slightly distant from reality. So I decided to try writing something where readers could relate to the characters, to feel them, to recognize parts of people around them in these personalities.
In this first attempt, I chose to portray a soft male lead.
Suho is not a perfect hero. He is responsible, obedient, and deeply tied to his family's expectations and legacy. He sacrifices his happiness to fulfill his duties. Yet at the same time, he is human enough not to completely let go of his own desires. He represents a type of man that exists in society but is rarely acknowledged for their emotional struggles.
He tries to keep everyone happy. He tries to obey his family while also holding on to Yerin. He searched for a third option where no one would get hurt.
But life is never a straight road. It brings unexpected twists and harsh lessons. Suho had to face painful truths and see the real faces of people around him. Life tested him brutally. And when he was once again placed in the same position as before, this time, he had learned. This time, he chose differently.
In reality too, many people face similar situations. Some gather courage and break the norm. Some repeat the same mistakes even after learning their lessons. Through Suho, I wanted to show a soft-hearted man making a courageous decision to protect his love, even if it meant leaving everything behind.
I also tried to show silent family politics, hatred, and jealousy. How control can sometimes hide behind the name of love and care. How favoritism can affect family dynamics. How being everyone's favorite and obedient child can slowly become a burden.
And how a man who loves deeply and unconditionally can also turn fierce when protecting that love.
I tried to portray different sides of Suho. A serious businessman. A sincere lover with Yerin. A shy and slightly childish husband with Hauen. An obedient son in front of his family. and a little cowardly side of him, too, when he was given choices or placed in situations where he had to protect and defend his love fiercely, but failed. But at his core, he always remains an honest, soft-hearted gentleman who loves and feels emotions deeply.
Now, about Hauen.
Hauen appears bold, but she is also caring and mature. She is practical. And many may think that she fell in love with Suho even after witnessing his relationship with Yerin. Even when Yerin was in his life.
But feelings are not something we control easily. The important part is that she never acted on her feelings when he was committed to someone else. She never tried to interfere. She never intentionally tried to become a reason for conflict between Suho and Yerin. She buried her emotions because she knew it would be wrong to cross that boundary.
Only after Yerin left, and only when Suho himself approached her with genuine feelings, did she allow herself to accept him.
Some may question her self-respect or dignity. How could she accept him? Did she not have the self-respect to accept a man who had a past?
But she never disrespected herself. She did not chase a man who loved someone else. She did not force her feelings on him when he was emotionally unavailable. She waited until he was emotionally free and truly chose her.
Once Suho became hers completely, why should she keep holding onto his past? Yerin became his past, and he moved on sincerely. Digging into a partner's past relationship after they have genuinely moved forward does not always show maturity. Sometimes maturity is choosing peace and trusting the present.
That is who Hauen is. She chooses trust. She chooses stability and honesty. She chooses love without insecurity. She did not let insecurity ruin something pure they had together.
I believe I portrayed these two characters as best as possible.
I am not claiming that I did something extraordinary with this book. But for me, it is extraordinary. Because I tried something new. I explored emotions, responsibilities, family pressure, love, sacrifice, and courage in my own way.
This book holds a piece of me.
As a beginner, I am simply happy that I gave my best and completed what I started. That itself feels like a victory.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for supporting. And thank you for being part of this journey.
With love,
The Author Rhea.

This is not the end of the story. It is only the beginning.
I do have plans for a continuation. There are still plots, events, and emotional turns in my mind that I would love to explore someday. But not right now.
Maybe in the future. Maybe when the timing feels right. And maybe when I feel that there are readers who truly want to continue this journey with these characters.
If you felt that Part One was worth reading and you would be interested in Part-2, please let me know in the comments. Your support and response will help me decide whether to bring the next part of this story to life.
