Tyler looked at me, and a perfect smile spread across his lips—a smile I'd never seen before. A real smile. Not that predatory, cocky grin that made me feel like I was just some game he was playing. This one was genuine. And, for some reason, it did things to me. I didn't want to admit it, but the way he looked at me… it felt like maybe he wasn't entirely in control of the situation.
