By the time Cassian realized what was happening, it was too late. I had finished my transformation, turning into a giant black wolf. I now stood roughly 8 feet tall. My upper canines were as long and thick as a grown man's finger, which was roughly 4 inches in length.
My black-furred coat danced gracefully in the wind and blended in with the darkness seamlessly. When Cassian least expected it, I leaped from the shadows and sank my teeth into his shoulder. Immediately, the metallic taste of his blood filled my mouth.
His flesh was easy enough to get through, but his bones were like iron. I felt one of my canines chip while trying to bite through it.
"ARRRGG!"
Cassian grunted in agony while trying to break my jaws, but my grip on him was firm. His claws scratched the side of my snout. I snapped him around like a dog playing with a chew toy, smashing him against the ground, buildings, and whatever I could find.
