The six members of Canghui Academy stood at the apex of the six-pointed star, while their middle-aged captain stood solemnly in the center of the six-pointed star formation, gathering his aura.
"Whoosh!"
The seven smiled kindly at the girls from Tianshui Academy, their soul power surging, their right hands shining brightly at the same time, their auras invisibly drawing each other together.
"Brother Yu, look what Canghui Academy is up to, it seems quite fun." Ning Rongrong said with interest, holding a Seven Treasure Glazed Pagoda that emitted colorful light.
"Is it fun?" Luo Yu rolled his eyes helplessly.
Shui Yue'er, bathed in the icy blue soul light, her four soul rings swirling, turned to look at Luo Yu hesitantly and asked, "Is that a combined attack skill?"
Luo Yu said speechlessly, "You've already figured it out, why aren't you interrupting them?"
Shui Yue'er smiled and said, "They were very nice to us just now, even saying they were your fans, so let's give them a chance to go all out. Anyway, their strength isn't a threat to us, otherwise it would be too cruel to just knock them off the stage."
Xue Wu rolled her beautiful eyes at Luo Yu, "Brother Yu, you don't really think their lineup can defeat us, do you?"
Luo Yu didn't say anything, shook his head, and focused his gaze on Canghui Academy. He knew that this academy had some merit, but since he had taken the stage, there would be no surprises.
"But at this point, it's time for someone to teach Yue'er and the others a lesson." Luo Yu glanced at the six careless girls again, then leaned back lazily in his wheelchair.
"What's wrong with Canghui? Why aren't
they using their ultimate moves and going all out? What are they dawdling around for?" "Does using their strongest soul skills even matter? With that kind of strength, Tianshui Academy would probably be wiped out in a second."
"Yawn, this match is so boring, it's completely one-sided."
"Get off the field!!!"
The audience was now buzzing with discussion, mostly internally criticizing Canghui Academy for being like an ant trying to shake a tree, overestimating themselves.
Hearing the boos from the crowd, the girls from Tianshui felt sympathy for the polite Canghui team. Although their hands were emitting soul light and their soul rings were swirling behind them, they hesitated to make a move.
On the Canghui side, their invisible aura was restrained, completely contained within the six-pointed star formation. Seeing the seven from Tianshui remain unmoved, a strange, sly smile subtly appeared on the corners of each of their mouths.
Captain Canghui shifted his gaze from the careless Tianshui team, glancing sideways at the noisy audience, a cold smile creeping across his face. "Watch, you ignorant masses! You look down on us now, but the next moment will be our miraculous comeback!"
"Brothers, activate your Martial Souls!!" Captain Canghui roared excitedly, sensing the formation's power was complete.
"Yes!" The six responded simultaneously, looking at Tianshui Academy who hadn't yet unleashed their Soul Skills to interrupt them, as if victory was already in sight.
"Boom!"
A blinding light erupted on the arena, and a gem appeared simultaneously in the right hand of each of the seven members of the Canghui team.
The gems in their palms were all different in color and appearance. Some were round, some prismatic, some triangular, and some teardrop-shaped, each a different color of the rainbow.
But as these seven gems appeared, a layer of shimmering, multicolored light surged from their bodies, completely enveloping them.
"Gemstone Martial Souls?"
Ning Fengzhi exclaimed in surprise from the VIP room.
Even the majestic gaze of Emperor Xueye revealed a hint of surprise. "Gemstone-type martial souls are rare to begin with, yet Canghui Academy actually has seven members with gemstone-type martial souls? And it seems they've mastered some kind of formation that can be used together?"
Ning Fengzhi nodded. "That should be it. These seven people have similar auras, clearly indicating they've undergone special training. I initially thought Canghui Academy was unremarkable, but I didn't expect them to have such hidden strength."
"Then do you think they can challenge Tianshui Academy with their strength?" Emperor Xueye laughed. "Rongrong and the others seem a bit careless."
Ning Fengzhi's gaze swept over the curious girls in the front row, stopping when he noticed the young man lazily leaning against his wheelchair. He shook his head with a smile.
"These Canghui kids do have some brains, but no matter what, as long as this little monster is around, they still have no chance of winning."
Xueye also looked at Luo Yu and pondered, "I think this kid's lazy appearance shows he's been somewhat lax in his defenses. If Canghui Academy really has some tricks up their sleeve, Tianshui might easily be caught off guard."
Ning Fengzhi smiled without saying a word.
On the competition stage, the Canghui captain, having prepared his strength, stood amidst the swirling light of the treasure, slowly raising his right hand and holding the silver gem in his palm high. A strange, excited smile played on his lips as he looked at the seven from Tianshui Academy.
"Now, our game can begin!"
Seeing Captain Cang Hui's changed expression, his eyes turning cold and mocking, the girls of the Tianshui team perked up. Luo Yu, however, narrowed his eyes, a slight smirk playing on his lips, seemingly oblivious to the whole affair, merely watching a show.
Shui Bing'er, her ice phoenix wings spread behind her, stepped forward and asked, "What do you mean by this?"
Captain Cang Hui's attitude changed drastically, a wicked smile spreading across his face. "You're strong, but you dared to let us accumulate energy to this extent. No matter what methods you have, you won't have time to use them. Losing this game isn't anyone else's fault, it's just your own arrogance!"
Shui Yue'er realized the problem at that moment. "Were you just playing us? Just to buy time?"
"Heh, what else?"
"Since you saw through it, don't say it, or you'll only slap yourselves in the face."
Captain Cang Hui's face was now filled with a smug smile, as if success was within reach. His fourth spirit ring instantly lit up, and the silver gem he held high burst forth with intense light.
The six team members, maintaining the same posture, simultaneously shone with different brilliant lights from the gems they held, and their third spirit rings lit up at the same time.
"We've fallen for their trap!" Shui Bing'er's face turned ugly, feeling like she'd been tricked.
Shui Yue'er frowned and snorted coldly, "In the face of strength, your petty tricks are utterly insignificant."
"Oh? Is that so?" Captain Cang Hui raised an eyebrow.
"Boom!"
The six stunningly beautiful girls from Tianshui Academy attacked in anger, their spirit light surging, their auras soaring, and their strongest spirit rings simultaneously lighting up.
Captain Cang Hui remained calm, "If you had used your full strength earlier, we really wouldn't have had a chance."
"Trying to attack now?"
"Too late!"
"Whoosh!" Seven beams of colorful light shot into the sky from the Cang Hui team members, condensing into a massive seven-colored pillar of light centered on Captain Cang Hui. The pillar of light pierced through the air and spread outwards, completely enveloping the seven people forming a six-pointed star formation.
Suddenly, only the dazzling and immense light remained on the field, and all seven members of the Canghui Academy team vanished without a trace.
