Bezelb.
The name itself originates from the Bible, meaning—
Lord of the Flies.
And indeed, these monsters lived up to that title.
Each Bezelb resembled a grotesquely mutated fly, twisted by demonic power.
In certain religious texts, Bezelb is described as a demon that spreads disease.
And these monsters did exactly that—
By injecting venom into other lifeforms, they controlled them like puppets.
They were demons of plague incarnate.
The swarm of fly-like monsters that had reached the Tree of Life was completely engulfed by the waterfall-like Zeperion Ray, vanishing amid the violent explosions.
Burning fragments of monster flesh rained down upon the ground, filling the air with the stench of scorched insects.
—
Far beyond Planet Kanon, inside a hidden spaceship—
A hunched man in a black robe stared at the screen, eyes bulging, mouth agape wide enough to swallow an egg.
"M–My Bezelb legion?!!!!"
After a moment of suffocating silence, his scream echoed throughout the ship.
This man was Psychi—
The true mastermind behind the invasion of Planet Kanon.
No one knew why he had chosen such a refined-sounding name, but one thing was certain:
He truly had a talent for madness.
His grand ambition was to control all life in the universe through Bezelb venom, thereby achieving "universal peace."
Frankly speaking, no one without a decade-long cerebral blockage could come up with such logic.
In Yuzhou's view, Psychi was on the same intellectual wavelength as the artificial idiot Gillvalis—
They could easily form a duo.
"WHO IS THAT GUY?!!!"
Psychi pointed at the image of Tiga on the screen, roaring in rage.
"That individual appears to be… an Ultraman called Tiga," reported the clown-like robot beside him, Partel.
"Tiga?"
Psychi exhaled sharply, then barked an order at Queen Bezelb.
"Kill him! Tear him to pieces!!!"
—
Having wiped out the Bezelb swarm, Yuzhou was just about to undo his transformation and leave—
When he felt himself being locked onto.
The final Bezelb.
The strongest one.
The Bezelb Queen—Queen Bezelb.
Though a demon, Queen Bezelb was similar to Queen Amate's War Deity form, having been born from the Tree of Life itself.
In that sense, she and Amate were like sisters.
Queen Bezelb gave birth to Bezelbs endlessly.
As for Queen Amate…
She gave birth to absolutely nothing.
Locking onto Yuzhou, Queen Bezelb left behind an afterimage and launched herself forward at extreme speed.
Boom!
Yuzhou crossed his arms before his chest, blocking the impact head-on.
"…That's it?"
He shook his head.
He had expected more from a monster born alongside the War Deity.
Apparently, this was all there was.
Aside from reproduction, Queen Bezelb didn't seem particularly impressive.
As for Queen Amate—
Strong when firing her ultimate beam, yes.
But her defences were undeniably fragile.
Truth be told, Yuzhou had little interest in her anyway—
Partly because her face was a bit too large, and partly because her way of thinking seemed… questionable.
—
"Queen Bezelb, what did you say? You used eighty percent of your power just now?!"
Inside the spaceship, Psychi froze.
Eighty percent of Queen Bezelb's strength—and it hadn't even scratched Tiga?!
Just how terrifying was Tiga's defense?!
After the clash, Queen Bezelb retreated far into the distance and unleashed arcs of electricity that slithered through the air like serpents.
"Quite the range on that attack," Yuzhou commented calmly, even nodding in mild approval.
On the ground, Juggler shouted anxiously, "Watch out!"
Yuzhou raised one hand.
Ripples of multi-coloured light spread outward, instantly forming an Ultra Barrier.
One by one, the electric arcs vanished upon contact.
"…Useless?!"
Psychi muttered in disbelief.
Close combat failed.
Long-range attacks failed.
At this point, he had no idea how to deal with Tiga at all.
"Queen Bezelb, handle it however you see fit!"
Psychi finally snapped.
—
"Ultraman Tiga is… absurdly strong."
As a newcomer, Orb could not help but marvel.
"He truly is a powerful Ultra warrior," Cosmos agreed, nodding.
"I once fought alongside Senior Tiga on Earth," Dyna said, falling into reminiscence.
"I was defeated by Queen Monera back then. It was Senior Tiga who appeared and saved me."
"Before I even became Ultraman Dyna, Senior Tiga had already been fighting on Earth."
—
Yuzhou had no intention of dragging things out.
After testing Queen Bezelb's limits, he now knew exactly how much force was required to end this.
However—
Destroying her was not the only option.
Floating in the sky, the silver, purple, and red hues of his body slowly faded.
The golden patterns on his chest armour vanished one by one.
What replaced them—
Was darkness.
"L–Look!!!"
Orb shouted in shock.
"What's happening to Tiga?!"
Cosmos frowned, unease rising in his chest.
"Senior Tiga… what is this…?"
Dyna was completely stunned.
Ignoring their reactions, Yuzhou completed his transformation.
Now clad in jet-black armour, he extended his right hand.
A dark iron rod with a faint blue glow appeared in his grasp.
The Giga Battlenizer.
"Look at that weapon!!!"
Cosmos exclaimed.
"What is it?"
Orb asked, utterly confused.
"That is… the Giga Battlenizer!"
Dyna's heart sank.
That weapon belonged exclusively to Belial.
Tiga had turned black—
And now wielded Belial's weapon.
The implications were chilling.
"Could it be… Senior Tiga fell into darkness after being attacked by that monster?"
Dyna thought in panic.
But he had blocked every attack earlier…
"Could he have been poisoned by Bezelb venom?"
Cosmos suddenly realized.
"That's very possible!"
Dyna nodded frantically.
"I'll get a fruit from the Tree of Life to detoxify him!"
Orb immediately flew toward the towering tree.
