Chapter 654 - Chapter 653: Has Juggler Completely Turned to the Light?

The group arrived at a luxurious five-star hotel.

None of them were particularly wealthy, so naturally, the one footing the bill was Yuzhou.

The hotel manager immediately sensed that these guests were no ordinary people and personally came out to welcome them—especially after noticing that Juggler and Haruki were still wearing STORAGE uniforms.

On a pitch-black street elsewhere—

Kaburagi staggered forward, panting heavily, his body covered in wounds.

"I feel great right now!"

His mental state was clearly unstable. One of his eyes was bloodshot as he muttered to himself.

The battle he had already experienced once—

This time, everything had gone completely differently.

That alone was enough to shatter his composure.

"Where did it go wrong?!"

Swaying unsteadily, he returned to his base—an eerie, dim green space. He collapsed into a chair, utterly exhausted.

"If Tartarus brought me to a parallel timeline… then logically, there should be another 'me' here…"

"But there isn't."

"Kaburagi's body shows no signs of having been parasitized before."

Too many inconsistencies piled up, pushing the Celebro-controlled Kaburagi into growing agitation.

"Belial—no… Tiga. It has to be that Tiga!"

At last, he pointed the blame toward the "Tiga" Tartarus had mentioned.

In the original timeline, Tiga never appeared.

Even if he did, it was merely a projection created by Z's Gamma Future form.

As for Belial's Medal, it had already been taken by Haruki in the other timeline—

Which was precisely why Celebro was forced to recreate the Medal here.

While Celebro spiraled into frustration, Yuzhou and the others were eating without restraint.

Zero, in particular, insisted on grilled skewers—he claimed it had been ages since he last ate Earth-style barbecue.

After hearing Seven constantly reminisce about how Taro once treated him to skewers, Zero had grown curious long ago.

At the dinner table, the most bewildered person was Haruki.

To be honest, almost everyone present was connected to Z, not him.

The only person he personally knew was Captain Hebikura.

Unlike the original storyline, Geed and Belial did not leave.

Under Yuzhou's arrangement, they stayed on Earth for the time being.

The matter of the Devil Splinters was temporarily entrusted to Fukuide Kei.

However, just as Fukuide Kei was about to depart, Juggler stopped him.

"Could you help me with something?"

Juggler rarely asked anyone for assistance.

This request alone surprised even Yuzhou.

"What kind of help?"

Fukuide Kei looked at him calmly.

"If it's within my capability, I can try."

"Thank you," Juggler said.

"I want to see if it's possible to convert all the darkness within me into light."

"I've heard that Sturm aliens possess a Sturm Organ, capable of phase inversion."

"Perhaps you can help me convert dark energy into light."

"I see now."

Yuzhou immediately understood.

Juggler could not fully synchronize with light, which was why he could only transform into a half-light, half-dark version of Tiga.

Now that he knew Fukuide Kei was a Sturm alien, this possibility naturally came to mind—

Using the Sturm Organ to reverse the energy phase.

"…It might be possible," Fukuide Kei said after a pause.

Such a request was not difficult for him to agree to.

Preparations began immediately.

They moved to an uninhabited mountain basin.

Only Geed, Belial, Yuzhou, and Zero were present.

Haruki had already been sent back to STORAGE by Juggler to continue working.

Juggler took out his half-golden, half-dark Sparklence and pressed the transformation trigger.

A silver-black-red figure burst forth from the Tunnel of Light.

It was Juggler's Power-Type-only form.

"If all the darkness in my body can be converted into light…"

Juggler thought, "Then I should be able to fully accommodate both forces."

At that point, Power Type and Sky Type could merge.

The chest markings would turn gold—

And he would finally achieve a true Composite Form.

Reducing himself to human size, Juggler stood before Fukuide Kei.

"Now," Fukuide Kei said as he grasped Juggler's hands, "control your energy and transfer all of it to me."

"If all his power is drained, he'll revert to a stone statue," Yuzhou warned from the side.

In truth, Yuzhou himself possessed methods to convert dark energy.

But Juggler was special—

Unless his inner knot was resolved, darkness would cling to him permanently.

"I know," Juggler nodded.

"But I still want to try."

"In that case, I'll help as well."

As Yuzhou spoke, his body was enveloped in red, purple, and gold light particles.

He transformed into Composite-Type Tiga, human-sized.

"When your energy transfer is complete," Yuzhou said, "I'll supply you with light to prevent you from turning to stone."

"Understood."

Everything was ready.

Fukuide Kei activated the Sturm Organ within his body.

Because Juggler's power was a mixture of light and darkness, it had to be transferred together—

Only then could the Sturm Organ separate and convert the dark component into light.

Juggler began channelling his energy.

Golden and black particles flowed continuously from his hands into Fukuide Kei's body.

Soon, even the crystal on Juggler's forehead began to disperse into particles, joining the transfer.

"Good," Fukuide Kei said.

"Your energy is almost depleted."

Juggler's Colour Timer began flashing red.

The transfer neared its end.

The flashing grew faster—

Then abruptly went dark.

Starting from his feet, Juggler's body slowly began to petrify.

At that moment, a beam of light entered his Colour Timer, restoring its glow.

It was the energy Yuzhou supplied.

"The conversion process may take some time," Fukuide Kei said, fully exerting the Sturm Organ.

A green glow was visible at his chest.

Yuzhou had considered directly supplying light energy from the start—

But chose not to.

A plastic bag can hold water, but not fire.

Likewise, Juggler's body—

The parts that could only contain darkness—might not be able to immediately withstand pure light.

Because of this, Yuzhou was genuinely concerned.

Forcing Juggler to become a true warrior of light through this method carried enormous risk.
