Chapter 591 - Chapter 590: Shining Capsule, Cards

"It seems… what you're saying does make sense," Father of Ultra sighed after hearing everyone out. "I may have been overly sensitive regarding matters related to the Plasma Spark."

As the Commander-in-Chief of the Space Garrison, Father of Ultra naturally bore responsibility for the safety of the universe.

The existence of the Plasma Spark was, to him, a matter of paramount importance.

"Belial… I apologize."

This was the first time in history that Father of Ultra had ever apologized to Belial.

Back when Belial invaded the Land of Light, Father of Ultra had always blamed his former comrade, questioning why he would commit such an act. But as time passed, he reflected deeply.

Perhaps he truly should not have placed all the blame on Belial. Belial's fall into darkness was, in truth, partly his own fault.

If Belial had not been exiled back then—if instead the Ultra King had been asked to temper and guide him—perhaps Belial would have become the "Zero" of their generation.

In fact, during Belial's first invasion of the Land of Light, the Ultra King did not annihilate him outright. Instead, he sealed him away in the Space Prison.

Did the Ultra King possess the power to destroy Belial? Of course he did.

Sealing Belial with ease was proof enough. As one of the four mysterious Ultra legends, the Ultra King wielded absolute power.

The fact that he did not eliminate Belial outright meant only one thing.

The Ultra King did not wish to destroy Belial.

Father of Ultra finally understood. The Ultra King had shown mercy to give Belial a chance—a chance for redemption.

Yet he himself, as the commander of the Space Garrison, had coldly issued the order to exile Belial from the Land of Light, without the slightest consideration.

As a result, when Belial later lacked the strength to resist the invasion of the Alien Reiblood, he was overtaken and fused with that darkness.

"Hmph. You're still the same as ever—putting on a show," Belial snorted.

Though Father of Ultra's apology stirred something within him, Belial maintained an outward appearance of rejection.

"Regardless, Belial, this time I was in the wrong. Farewell."

Ignoring Belial's attitude, Father of Ultra finished his words and departed the Moon, flying off toward the Land of Light.

"Father of Ultra… just left?"

Even Zero scratched his head in disbelief. He had never expected Father of Ultra to apologize—and then leave just like that.

Yuzhou found the outcome rather agreeable.

Father of Ultra had let go of his prejudice, and though Belial refused to accept it openly, he would surely feel better inside.

"Still… could I ask Belial for the design schematics of the Plasma Spark here on the Moon?" Yuzhou suddenly thought.

"If not, even taking a finished unit would be fine."

After all, while his future father-in-law Keshiva could also make one, having a Plasma Spark capable of illuminating the entire Moon right in front of him was undeniably tempting.

And this one seemed more refined—after all, it had been built with Belial himself participating, as an Ultra.

"Belial and Fukuide Kei… their technological capability is almost on par with Hikari," Yuzhou mused.

Being able to construct something like this was already an extraordinary achievement.

As for whether Hikari had ever attempted to build a Plasma Spark, Yuzhou had no idea.

He knew very well that trying to get Belial's Plasma Spark or its blueprints for free was impossible.

So he needed to trade with something Belial actually cared about.

What did Belial want?

The Plasma Spark? He already had one.

Mother of Ultra, Marie? Forget it—she was already a grandmother, and Belial likely had no lingering feelings, especially now that he had a son.

After analysing Belial's remaining desires in this world, Yuzhou realized something unsettling.

Belial didn't seem to want anything… except one thing.

Geed.

"Riku!"

With that in mind, Yuzhou waved toward Geed and called out to him.

If he wanted to gain Belial's goodwill in large measure, starting with Geed was the only viable path.

"Huh? Yuzhou-san, what is it?"

Riku walked over, scratching his head in confusion.

"It's nothing serious. Give me the Tiga Capsule for a moment."

After a brief pause, Yuzhou extended his hand.

"Ah? Oh—okay!"

Riku froze for a moment, then the Tiga Capsule flew out from his Colour Timer and landed in Yuzhou's palm.

In Yuzhou's hand, the Tiga Capsule emitted a soft glow. Its ultrasonic vibration frequency perfectly synchronized with Yuzhou's own.

Without warning, golden light erupted from Yuzhou's body as he entered his Shining form. He then poured energy into the Tiga Capsule.

Starlight flickered across the capsule. When the energy infusion ended, the Tiga emblem on its surface had turned into a radiant, golden image completely covered in light.

"This Shining power has a cooldown," Yuzhou said as he returned the capsule to Geed's Colour Timer.

"Use it at a critical moment."

"Under normal circumstances, you can still use its standard form."

"Huh?"

Riku stood there completely stunned.

He hadn't done anything—and yet he had just obtained a Shining Tiga Capsule?

In truth, Yuzhou modified the capsule not only because of Belial, but also because Geed had lost access to his Ultimate Form due to Yuzhou's interference in events.

Giving Riku the Shining Capsule ensured he would have a trump card—something to turn the tide and save his life when it mattered most.

If something happened to Geed because he lacked his Ultimate Form, Yuzhou would never forgive himself.

"This is amazing! Thank you, Yuzhou… Tiga-san!"

Riku was overjoyed. With such power, protecting Earth would become far more manageable.

Orb: "???"

Did Senior Tiga no longer love me?

Why does this junior get access to Shining power?

Wasn't Shining something you had to awaken on your own?

Since when did Shining Tiga come in capsule form?!

"Tiga-senpai, I—"

Orb extended a hand, hesitating.

"Alright, alright. Hand over the Tiga Card."

Yuzhou sighed helplessly and asked Gai to pass it over.

In Orb's movie timeline, Orb had also lost access to his Trinity Form due to Yuzhou's presence.

Charging his Tiga Card—no, infusing it with a portion of Shining power—was only fair compensation.

If Orb ever got into trouble because he lacked Trinity, Yuzhou would feel equally responsible.

"That's great! Thank you, senpai!"

Gai was ecstatic. This time, he had truly borrowed Tiga's power.

With a whoosh, the Tiga Card flew into Yuzhou's hand.

Yuzhou looked down at the card. The crystal on his forehead pulsed as Shining energy flowed into it.
