Chapter 571 - Chapter 570 Charija, Guardian of Earth

"Mr. Kobayashi, please calm yourself."

The representative from Merica glanced at Kobayashi before speaking, his tone dismissive, as though Kobayashi's words carried little weight.

"The Plasma Spark holds immeasurable significance for humanity," he continued. "Think about it—if we could obtain such a divine artifact, it would mark the evolution of civilization itself!"

As he spoke, his excitement grew unchecked, already envisioning Earth transformed into a second Land of Light, just like in the films.

"I believe it is feasible," the representative from England added. "If some people fail during evolution, that merely eliminates inferior genetic material. Those who remain would represent humanity's finest."

"I oppose this."

After a brief silence, the representative from Huaxia finally spoke.

If humanity were to undergo forced evolution through the Plasma Spark, given Huaxia's population size, the casualties would be catastrophic. More importantly, this was an act fundamentally opposed to human values—something Huaxia would never condone.

"Setting aside whether such evolution is even possible," the Huaxia representative continued calmly, "attempting to seize the Plasma Spark would mean becoming enemies of the Ultramen."

"The Ultramen are powerful, and more importantly, they have consistently protected humanity and saved Earth."

"If you turn against them, not only might they cease helping us—but ask yourselves honestly: can humanity defeat them?"

That question silenced several representatives who had yet to speak but clearly harboured similar ambitions.

Indeed, humanity stood no chance against the Ultramen.

And in Earth's current state, their protection was indispensable.

With the joint efforts of multiple Ultramen, the number of monsters on Earth steadily declined.

Most had arrived earlier through interdimensional transfers and gone into hiding. A smaller number continued to slip through while the spacetime rifts remained unstable.

Some even travelled directly from outer space.

According to the mysterious girl, Earth was not the only affected planet—monsters had appeared across the universe. However, Earth suffered the most severe invasion.

This universe used Earth as its central coordinate. The primary force of darkness was focused here.

"Some monsters hide deep underground. They're extremely difficult to locate."

After a period of training, Belial had begun to carry himself like a proper captain. His temperament had also noticeably stabilized.

"If we leave them alone," he continued, "they might remain dormant for thousands—or even tens of thousands—of years."

Belial took this matter seriously.

Every member of the newly formed Universal Garrison, including Belial himself, personally participated in monster-hunting operations.

During these investigations, Belial discovered that many monsters were buried deep beneath the earth's crust. Without extraordinary coincidence, they would never be found.

"That is indeed a problem,"

Yu Zhou stroked his chin, frowning slightly.

Locating monsters would require additional combat power. More importantly, the Universal Garrison could no longer operate with such primitive resources—it needed advanced technology.

"I'll return to the New Frontier World," Yu Zhou decided. "I'll see if I can acquire some high-tech equipment."

To avoid confusion, Yu Zhou and the others had officially named the Ultraman Tiga World the New Frontier World.

"I'll go back as well," Masaki added after some thought. "I want to see if the Time-Space Castle can be miniaturized."

The New Frontier World was relatively peaceful now. There was no longer any need to deploy the Time-Space Castle there. If it could be reduced in size and transported, it would be ideal.

"Alright. Let's leave now."

Yu Zhou summoned a spatial vortex and turned to Belial and the others.

"I'll leave things here to you."

"Don't worry," Belial replied firmly. "With us here, nothing will go wrong."

They emerged from the vortex into a deserted alley.

Before they could take more than a few steps, a thunderous roar echoed through the city.

Looking up, Yu Zhou and Masaki saw a colossal monster roaring between towering skyscrapers.

"Five King? Why is there another Five King?"

Before Masaki could process it, Yu Zhou noticed a black humanoid figure standing before the monster.

The silhouette was gigantic—clearly a giant—but its form resembled that of a monster more than an Ultraman.

"A Kyrieloid Alien?" Yu Zhou was startled. "They're still not giving up?"

On this Earth alone, Daigo had already defeated two of them. On the Dais Star, Yu Zhou had personally slain a Kyrieloid God.

Yet now, they had set their sights on Earth again.

"They weren't active thirty million years ago either," Yu Zhou muttered. "They've always been good at hiding."

According to records, the Kyrieloid race had ties to Cthulhu-type darkness but harboured ambitions of ruling Earth themselves. Thus, they had remained in hiding—waiting for an opportunity that never truly came.

Suddenly, five beams of different colours erupted from Five King, striking the Kyrieloid Alien directly.

A violent explosion followed.

The alien was blown apart completely—annihilated without leaving a trace.

"Return, Five King."

A capsule appeared in midair. After eliminating its target, Five King transformed into a beam of light and was sealed within it.

The capsule then flew into the hand of a black-clad, rotund figure floating in the air atop a black umbrella.

"So, it's Charija," Yu Zhou chuckled. "I was wondering where Five King came from."

It turned out that Five King had been summoned by Charija to deal with the invader.

Clearly, Charija had already taken on the role of Earth's guardian.

"Charija!"

Yu Zhou waved and called out.

Though the distance was great, Charija heard him clearly.

Just as Charija was about to leave, he flew down and landed before Yu Zhou and Masaki, his expression full of grievance.

"I was planning to capture any monsters that showed up," Charija complained. "But all that keeps coming are aliens trying to invade Earth!"

Yu Zhou couldn't help but laugh.

"You've worked hard."

Indeed, in such a short time, so many alien invaders had already appeared. Fortunately, Charija's abilities were more than sufficient to deal with them.

"I'll treat you to a feast tonight," Yu Zhou said. "I'll cook."

Charija's grievances vanished instantly.

His eyes lit up as he immediately began asking what ingredients were needed—already planning to buy them himself.
