Chapter 507 - Chapter 506 – The Dark Giants

Darkness surged forth, swallowing the entire Light Particle Converter. Camearra, along with Hudra and Darramb who had rushed in after her, were instantly engulfed within that spreading black power.

The starry sky above seemed to twist upon itself. From nowhere, black mist poured in waves, blanketing the heavens.

Even the radiant light of Orion was devoured. The Light Particle Converter's once brilliant glow flickered—and vanished into darkness.

Bolts of lightning cracked across the sky as Camearra cried out in agony. Her body trembled under the overwhelming torrent of energy coursing through her. Every cell within her was undergoing a strange and violent evolution.

The lingering frost energy inside her—remnants of her past battles—merged with the fiery essence that Anmon had used to heal her. Together they formed two chaotic streams of energy, one violet and one crimson, twisting and colliding amid the consuming dark.

A crystalline chime rang out, like silver bells clashing in the void. Camearra's body expanded rapidly—until she stood transformed into a towering giant of gold, silver, and black.

At the centre of her chest, a Colour Timer gleamed with an intense azure light.

Her twin eyes glowed a sharp orange-yellow, filled with a hint of hostility that hadn't been there before.

Those two streams of red and purple energy shot through the darkness and entered Hudra and Darramb, wrapping around their bodies like living serpents.

Even the disciplined warriors could not bear the surge. Both roared in pain as the immense power overtook them.

Their bodies began to change—mutating, evolving—until two new giants stood beside Camearra, one violet, one crimson.

Hudra's eyes glimmered icy blue; Darramb's burned with deep amber light.

Both bore Colour Timers embedded in their chests like sapphire jewels, their forms laced with irregular black markings—dark veins that pulsed as though alive.

"Su–successful?"

From the ground below, Keshiva could only stare, trembling at the sight before him. Camearra and the others—his creation, his daughter—had truly evolved into giants.

The shockwave of the transformation drew the attention of everyone on R'lyeh who could reach the platform—including Yuzare and Cain.

They had only just returned from the Island of Darkness after hearing Keshiva's report of Orion's light behaving abnormally.

"So, this… this is the giant born from human evolution?"

Yuzare looked up, her heart pounding with awe.

Keshiva's experiment—had succeeded.

Humans had evolved into giants.

Humankind now held the power to challenge the darkness itself.

"Humph."

Yet Camearra, newly transformed, only let out a cold snort. Her temperament had shifted; the darkness had taken root. She raised her hand, and a jet of black energy erupted toward the Light Particle Converter.

With a thunderous boom, the device shattered into fragments.

The fallen Sparklence of Darkness drifted into Camearra's grasp, drawn by her will.

With a sharp flash of light, she shot skyward, streaking toward the Island of Darkness.

Hudra and Darramb followed immediately, vanishing into the dark horizon.

Everyone left on R'lyeh stood in stunned silence, gazing at the retreating silhouettes of the three giants.

"They didn't evolve into giants of light…"

Keshiva clenched his fists, his voice trembling with dread.

His own daughter—Camearra—had become…

"They're Dark Giants, aren't they, Mr. Keshiva?"

Yuzare stepped closer, her gaze fixed on the swirling black clouds above.

"…Dark Giants."

Cain repeated softly, his mind flashing back.

If he remembered right—Tiga himself had once been a Dark Giant too.

Camearra soared high above the clouds, Hudra and Darramb flying close behind.

She knew what she had become—knew the truth of their transformation. They were no longer beings of light.

They were Dark Giants.

But that didn't matter. Not to her.

No matter what she became, if it meant saving Tiga—then so be it.

Still, she could feel it. The darkness gnawed at her thoughts, whispering destruction, feeding her rage. It made her volatile, impatient… cruel.

Hudra and Darramb felt it too. Their minds, once clear and calm, now drifted with violent impulses.

But through it all, one belief remained unshaken—

Their loyalty to their lady Camearra.

"Tiga… we've come to save you. Are you still there?"

Over the Island of Darkness, General An Cheng, who had been overseeing the garrison in Tiga's absence, noticed three colossal figures appearing in the skies above.

His eyes widened.

Three giants—each radiating immense power.

Giants… just like Tiga.

"Did Keshiva's experiment succeed? Or are these… new giants altogether?"

He knew of Keshiva's research, but for three to appear at once, without warning—that was alarming.

Before he could react, a transmission came through from Yuzare.

"Do not attack the three new giants. Let them enter the island."

"Understood."

General An Cheng signalled his troops to stand down. The guards lowered their weapons as the three Dark Giants descended.

Hovering briefly outside the island, Camearra's group then shot forward—straight into its heart.

Through stone forests and barren plains, they flew.

Every monster that rose to block their path was obliterated in an instant—burst apart into dust under their blows.

"They're unstoppable!"

Soldiers stationed across the wasteland could only watch in awe.

With a single gesture, the giants erased threats that entire battalions couldn't handle.

In moments, they reached the great abyss.

Through the swirling chaos and mist, they finally beheld it—the massive temple that loomed in the depths.

"Hm?"

Within the temple, the Dark King Cthulhu stirred from his slumber. His eyes opened, sensing the approach of three powerful auras.

"How amusing," he murmured with a chilling smile. "Those with hearts of light… now turned into Dark Giants."

"How very interesting indeed."

"Judging from their resolve," he continued, "it seems they've come to challenge me."

At the centre of his grand hall stood Tiga's petrified statue—silent, unblinking, eternally watchful.

A lonely companion, the Dark King mused.

Even stone could keep him company in his solitude.

"Dark King!" Camearra's voice thundered across the hall as she landed before the temple gates. "What have you done to Tiga!?"

"Octopus freak! Hand Tiga over!"

"Bat monster! Release Tiga!"

Hudra and Darramb shouted in fury, weapons forming from their gathered energy—

Hudra's arm shimmered into a violet energy bow,

while Darramb summoned a red energy shield.

"Tiga is my guest," came Cthulhu's calm reply from within. "You're welcome to join him."

The great doors swung open, beckoning them inward.

He wasn't angry—only amused.

As if he'd been waiting for this moment all along.
