"So? What is your answer, Tang San. Do you want me to stay or can you handle it alone?" Hanrui asked again, as he looked at the stunned Tang San.
'This… how should I answer? I don't want to stay near him, even though he did help us, giving away medicinal pills without asking for anything in return.
But if I reject him, would I be seen as ungrateful? Would the teacher dislike me if I do it?' He thought.
"I could escort you to a safer place but I need to meet up with my team soon. And your teacher is still unconscious.
So, either I send a message for them to leave without me, and stay here with you, or you carry your teacher on your back and I'll escort you out." Hanrui said, seeing the thoughtful expression on Tang San's face.
'No, we have to leave, it's manageable if we are just at the outermost area of the forest but we accidentally got deeper into the forest.
If this guy leaves, I'm not confident in my ability to protect myself with most of my sleeve arrows gone, let alone take care of my teacher, who is injured and unconscious and barely recovered.
Well, since this guy offered to escort me and my teacher out, I don't have a choice but to reluctantly accept his generosity.' Tang San thought.
'Do we have to baby this unknown near charcoal faced boy? I don't think I've seen a blacksmith who is practically married to his craft and spends time with charcoal and fire turning this black.
I only joined in the fun to test my strength, if brother Hanrui hadn't forbid me from using my full strength, that snake would've died long ago.' Zhuqing thought, with dissatisfaction at her time with Hanrui being disrupted.

Zhuqing (MS) laughed heartily as she rolled around inside the Martial Soul space, thoroughly amused by her younger self's thoughts.
But she quickly came back to her senses and composed herself. ' Tang San? Why does the name feel familiar?' She thought.
But looking at the unfamiliar boy in front of her, she couldn't recognise for a while, so she gave up.
'Whatever, I'll just ask Rui-ge later.' She thought.
"Elder Li, please escort us out, I'll carry the teacher on my back." Tang San said.
Hanrui smiled at him and nodded.
Tang San not wanting to delay anymore, quickly crouched down and lifted Yu Xiaogong and brought his hands and tied them around his shoulder then lifted him up by holding his legs in his arms.
The look of a young boy carrying an adult unconscious man on his back looked comical yet no one smiled openly.
"Let's go." Hanrui said as he walked leisurely towards the outermost area of the forest.
Tang San being young and still short for his age didn't notice as he was carrying his teacher on his back, the debris on the ground that they were passing, hitting Yu Xiaogong's legs which were being dragged.
An hour passed before they reached near one of the entrances of the Soul Hunting Forest, more specifically the one Tang San originally entered through as they walked silently.
"Well, go on now Tang San, I'll have to leave now." Hanrui said, turning around to look at Tang San who was following while carrying his teacher.
"Thank you for escorting us out. We'll be on our way now." Tang San replied with a slight bow, then started walking ahead.
The guards seeing him come to the gate with a man on got stunned.
'How long had it been since we saw such a scene? A young boy walking out with his aid, who should protect him, flung on his back?' They thought.
But then they shook their heads and thoughtfully called a carriage for the boy, as they saw the man's feet on the boy's back, being dragged on the ground.
Tang San who walked out felt surprised and grateful for the guards and thanked them before boarding the carriage with the help of the guards.
As the carriage started to move away Tang San finally relaxed his vigilance and looked back at the Soul Hunting Forest and vowed in his mind.
'I don't know why, that Datura Snake targeted us relentlessly but since it drove me and teacher to near death, I'll definitely avenge myself and the teacher and make it my Soul Ring.'

"Brother Hanrui, has your purpose been achieved?" Zhuqing asked suddenly as they started walking back into the Soul Hunting Forest in the direction of the Star Luo Empire.
