Unraveling the Knight
Professor Ozpin was sitting in a specialized room in Beacon Academy. It was rare but not unheard of for some students to fall off the moral path and use their skills and abilities to do horrible things. These rooms were devised to hold them until a proper punishment or sentence was figured out. The room was ten by ten; the walls, ceiling and floor were a stark white. The entire room was sealed with two feet of solid steel, making even the most powerful of people have a hard time breaking out. The only way in was a single door directly behind him, which only opened from the outside and only by the professors of the academy.
In the room itself was a single metal table, bolted to the floor and two metal chairs also bolted. Ozpin was sitting in one with his cane beside him and, unlike the norm, his usual mug was nowhere in sight. Just behind and to his left was Goodwitch, her arms were crossed and had a conflicted look on her face. They were both looking at the student in the chair across from them. He was sitting with his back hunched forward and his head looking down at the table. His hands were on the table with a pair of aura cuffs on his wrists, suppressing his aura and Semblance. His usual blonde hair was changed now, it was now almost stark white besides the tips of them.
"Mr. Arc." Ozpin said in a kind voice. The student in question didn't even move. "Please, talk to us."
The boy didn't even move. For thirty seconds, he just sat like that. He did speak after but his voice was devoid of all emotions and sounded broken. "I've told you everything that I need to, Professor. I killed Team CRDL, three nights ago. I killed Blake then Yang two nights ago. And earlier today, I killed Nora and Ren."
"But, why?" Ozpin asked but Jaune stayed quiet. He then sighed, "Mr. Arc...Jaune, Glynda and I are both aware of who you are. You are a kind boy with a good heart. You are someone that, even with your short comings, will always push yourself to be better. We know you would never do something like this unless you were pushed to do so."
Jaune didn't say a word, he didn't move. He just kept looking at the table in front of him. Ozpin leant forward just a bit, "Please, Jaune. We can't help you unless you talk to us."
With that, Jaune slowly looked up and met Ozpin's eyes. The Headmaster saw nothing in Jaune's blue pools. There was no emotions and looked so broken. "You can't help me. No one can." He looked back down. "The only thing left for me is to be imprisoned or killed. That's how you can help me."
Ozpin went to say something else but felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked to see Glynda giving him a sad look. She knew as well as him that there was nothing they could do for him. He was dead set on not saying anything else. He sighed and slowly stood up, taking his cane. "Very well, Mr. Arc. We will need to talk with the Counsel to figure out what to do. You will be staying here." He just nodded slowly. Ozpin sighed again as he and Glynda went to the door. It opened a few seconds later and closed behind them.
When they left, Jaune finally let his mask fall and he started to cry again. For the friends he lost. For the ones he killed.
"So, this is your plan?" Jaune looked up to see the Ghoul sitting in the chair opposite of him. He was leant back in the chair with his arms across his chest. He also had his legs resting on the table. He just stared at his other half for what felt like an eternity before that smirk stretched across his face. He just turned away and looked at the door. "We'll see how well that works out." Jaune blinked and the Ghoul was gone. That didn't reassure him in the least and a chill went up his spine.
Pyrrha was sitting in her dorm with Ruby and Weiss. All three young women were just in shock. But all things considered, that was a normal reaction. The three of them along with Ren and Nora had gone to find Jaune. And when the three had found him, they saw him standing over the corpses of the two of them. After he admitted to killing them, Professors Port and Oobleck escorted him back to the bullhead at gunpoint and kept watch over on him in the same way. When they arrived at Beacon, Professor Goodwitch was waiting for them. She had placed aura cuffs on him and the three professors had escorted him to the holding room. The entire ride to Beacon and even when he was escorted away, he never looked at them. As if looking even in their general direction was considered taboo.
The three had no idea on what to do now. So, they just sat in JNPR's dorm and just waited. Pyrrha was on her bed and was just looking down at Jaune's scroll, like at some point it would go off and answer every question she had. Sadly, it didn't. Weiss was sat down at one of the desks, it just so happened to be Jaune's. She had her chin resting in her palm and was turned sideways to stare out the window as the sun was slowly setting, with a thousand yard stare. Ruby was sitting crossed-legged on Jaune's bed and had Jaune's pillowed pulled to her chest as she hugged it. She had her nose buried in it as she had such a lost look in her eyes.
Eventually, they were pulled back to reality as all three of their scrolls went off simultaneously. They checked and saw that they each had the same message from Professor Ozpin. It read as followed:
It is with a heavy heart that I send you this message. But as the partner and close friends of Jaune Arc, you have the right to know. With the overwhelming evidence that his unique Semblance matches the wounds of the victims of the murders from last few nights, he has been found guilty of murder of the eight Beacon students: Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie. With him not willing to discuss this at all, the Counsel has come to the decision that he will be moved to the high security prison, Stalwart Heights, where he will be imprisoned until his execution date is decided on. He will be transported first thing tomorrow morning. That is all. My condolences - Professor Ozpin
The three just stared down at their scrolls. They couldn't believe this, it just couldn't be real. Pyrrha's hand was shaking as she held her scroll. Weiss was holding her's so tightly that it looked like it would break at any moment. Ruby dropped her's and it bounced off the bed before clattering to the floor. She buried her face into the pillow as she started to sob uncontrollably into it.
Pyrrha looked at the crying reaper and stood from her bed. She sat beside her and gently rubbed her back. Ruby pulled her head from the pillow and looked at the champion, who had the beginnings of tears in her own eyes. She then hugged her tightly and Pyrrha didn't hesitate to return it. "Why?" Ruby asked brokenly. "Why did this have to happen?"
Pyrrha just slowly shook her head as her own tears started to fall. "I don't know. I just don't know."
The two red heads held onto each other and cried for a few minutes before they were interrupted. "There's one way of finding out." The two turned to see that Weiss had risen from her seat and was looking at them.
"What?" Ruby asked, still too emotional to understand what her partner was saying.
"We can go try to talk to Jaune." She said and that got the two of them to stare at her wide eyed. "We can talk to him and find out why he did this."
Pyrrha looked away. "I don't think that'll work. Jaune has always kept secrets." Her mind went back to his transcripts. "I doubt he'll want to talk about this. Especially, if he didn't say anything to Professor Ozpin or Goodwitch."
Weiss shrugged, "Its either that or we stay here and constantly ask ourselves, 'why?' At least this way, we might get some closure." She looked back out the window, "Maybe even get something out of him to help him." She looked back at them. "Unless you two are giving up on him." She challenged.
Pyrrha, who was already stressed and her emotions were frayed, instantly glared at the Heiress, "Why are you so suddenly worried about Jaune? You made your feelings for him known to everyone."
Weiss looked away in shame, "Yes, I have. But even if I wasn't open to his advances, doesn't mean I want this to happen to him. Plus, if he really did all of this out of malicious intent, why would he go to such extents to make sure Ruby and I were okay? Or look so broken while being around us?"
That took Pyrrha off guard but Weiss made some very good points. She looked from the Heiress to the younger girl still in her arms, "What do you think, Ruby?"
She looked at Pyrrha then Weiss before looking down. She was biting her lower lip and had a contemplative look. She eventually looked up with one last sniffle, "I want to see Jaune." She said with determination.
Pyrrha just looked at her for a few more seconds before she nodded and let her go. She stood up and spoke, "Alright. Let's go see him."
The three women were walking down the single hallway that lead to the holding rooms of Beacon. Pyrrha and Weiss were leading them as Ruby was lagging behind them slightly. They were passing doors that lead to about half a dozen of these rooms before they saw Professor Port standing in front of one of the doors with his weapon close at hand. He was reading a book as he stood there. He eventually looked up and saw the three students walking over to him. "Miss Schnee, Miss Nikos." He then saw Ruby behind them, "Oh, and Miss Rose, what brings you three here at this time?"
"We were hoping to see Jaune, Professor." Weiss said in her best professional tone.
He looked at her before shaking his head, "I'm sorry, ladies, but that is impossible. No one is to see Mr. Arc, besides us professors, until his transport. Counsel's orders." His voice seemed to hold some disdain with that last sentence.
Pyrrha decided to give it a try, "Please, Professor, this may be the last time we see him."
He shook his head again, "I'm sorry. But the answer is no."
Pyrrha and Weiss turned to each other, unsure on what to do next. That was when Ruby walked past them and looked at the Professor. Her eyes had clear signs of crying and her eyes looked so lost. "Please, Professor Port." She asked in a shaky voice.
The Professor looked at the young girl and was at a loss. He maybe a Huntsman with many Grimm kills under his belt but he was still only human. He sighed and looked back at all three of them, "I can give you a few minutes but that is all I can do."
They gave him weak smiles before he pulled out his scroll and opened the door. He stood to the side and let them walk in and the door closed behind them as they walked in. They clearly saw Jaune hunched over the table with the cuffs still on his wrists. He didn't even react when the door opened, just kept staring down at the table. "Jaune." Ruby said hesitantly.
That did get a reaction from him. His whole body went rigid but he didn't look up. "You need to leave." He said in a very neutral voice.
They all looked at each other, Pyrrha was the one to voice their thoughts, "Please, Jaune. Talk to us. We know there's more going on here than what there seems to be."
They saw Jaune clench his fists tightly on the table and he started shaking. "You need to go. Now." His voice had a hard edge to it and it sounded like he was struggling. Like every word was a labor to get out.
Weiss just narrowed her eyes, "We aren't leaving until you talk to us."
He stopped shaking and his hands unclenched. That's when he started to chuckle and that made them uneasy. That's when he finally raised his head and they all took a step backwards. He had a twisted grin across his face and his right eye was now black and red. It was similar to a Grimm's but held something much more sinister, an almost manic light. He then spoke up in a distorted version of his voice. "It's good to finally meet you three in person."
"Jaune? What are you talking about?" Pyrrha asked, uneasily.
His eyes shifted to her and she notice that his left one was still blue and just looked cold, dead. "Sorry, but I'm not Jaune." He leant back in his chair and rested his legs on the table. "Think of me as his other half."
He noticed their confused looks. His smirk fell and he sighed, "I've had to explain this too much." He raised his head and his smirk came back, "But since this is the last time, I guess I can suck it up."
"You see, Jauney here has been through more than you could imagine. When he was sixteen, he was kidnapped and sold to this crazy doctor. His name was Watts. He was trying to bring back an extinct species back to Remnant, known as Ghouls, and he used Jaune as one of his many guinea pigs. He injected him with vials upon vials of different chemicals that nearly destroyed him, but to no success. Eventually, he lost his patience and decided to surgically implant some organs they managed to clone from the last known Ghoul. And it finally worked. That turned him into the world's first and only half-Ghoul." He smirked at them.
They each had disgusted looks on their faces, "What was the point in all of that?" Weiss asked.
He shrugged, "Don't know. Maybe the advancement of science. Maybe he was paid to or was under orders. Either way, it all comes down to one reason why anyone would want to do this: they wanted a way to make an army of beings more powerful than any Huntsman or Huntress out there." The smirked more at their shocked looks. "Oh yeah, Ghouls were in a-whole-nother league. Their bodies were a lot tougher, able to endure much more punishment and they had a healing factor that let them recover from almost anything. Along with that, their senses were greater than a Faunus and their speed, strength, reflexes, you name it, were pushed to the levels of superhumans. And on top of all that, they could use an organic weapon from their bodies because of a unique organ in their bodies. A Kagune. Trade off was that Ghouls bodies were incapable of producing an aura or Semblance." He looked up at the ceiling. "But half-Ghouls have all the benefits of both: enhanced physique and senses, healing, Kagune, aura and possibly a Semblance."
"So, you showed up when Jaune became a 'half-ghoul'?" Ruby asked a she tilted her head.
He chuckled and looked back down at her, "No. That wouldn't be as fun." He shook his head, "No, after Watts was convince that he had succeeded, they needed to test him. So, he handed Jaune over to this other bastard named Tyrian. For months, that Faunus tortured Jaune every day. He would cut deeply into his body with his bladed weapons, shoot him from point-blank to mid-range with his guns, rip off his appendages from finger and toes to arms and legs. And if he was feeling particularly sick, he would inject him with poison from his stinger, causing him unimaginable pain. But no matter what, Jaune would just heal up and be ready for it all over again. He was in the definition of Hell."
He looked back over to see all of them looking sick. He didn't give them a chance to recover, "That was until that one faithful day. Jaune's fragile and cracked mind finally broke. And all that trauma created me." His smirk grew again. "And I did the only thing that was right. I killed those bastards Tyrian and Watts. I ate them and slaughtered anyone else in the facility before burning it all to the ground."
"You...ate them?" Pyrrha asked just over a whisper. She was showing both disgust and horror.
"Right didn't explain that. Ghouls can't eat regular food. They can only eat the flesh of humans, Faunus or even other Ghouls. Although, they don't have to eat as often. Maybe every few weeks or so." He shook his head, "Anyway after that, I gave the controls back over to Jaune and we made our way back to his family. They were so happy to have him back and he, them. That was until they found out what he was now. And that made them afraid of him. That fear just kept building until that all lead up to another faithful night."
"W-what happened?" Ruby stuttered out, afraid of what she'd hear.
He looked to her with an evil gleam in his eye, "They tried to kill him in his sleep." That shocked them all. They all heard how much his family meant to him and to hear that they had tried to do such a horrible thing was huge. "So, I did the only thing we could do. I took control and slaughtered them. All of them, even his younger sisters."
With those words Ruby was shaking like a leaf and tears were escaping her eyes. Pyrrha quickly wrapped her in a hug to try and help her. Weiss glared at him, "You bastard." She hissed.
He just laughed at that, "That's exactly what he called me afterwards." He then sobered up and had a serious expression for once. "He found a way to lock me away, deep within his mind after that. That's when he came here to try and be a Huntsman. To try to repent for what he did." He scoffed, "What a waste."
"But, Beacon turned out to be a blessing, for me. Being looked down on by everyone and being surrounded by so much disgust and hatred. Well, that wasn't good for Jauney's already damaged mind." He chuckled again. "All it took was one very bad day, his mental, physical and emotional limit to be reached. And he finally gave in and let me take control. So, I killed CRDL. To feel the trill of the hunt once again and to let us finally eat a proper meal."
"Okay. CRDL I can understand, but what about the rest?" Weiss asked. "They were Jaune's friends, why would you do that? You would know what that would do to him, better than anyone. This will all just break him."
He just turned to her then looked at the other two. And a different grin stretched across his face. "Exactly."
That caused them all to stop. Pyrrha was the first to speak, "What?"
"You seven were his friends. You were the only thing he cared for anymore. He believed that you all needed him and that he'd do anything for you. But because of that, he refused to eat flesh and caused our body to decline." He shook his head in disgust. "That fucking idiot would've killed us. And for what? You all?"
"I was created to help us survive. But, he is the greatest risk to that survival." His twisted smirk came back in full force. "So, I'm going to put a stop to that. I'm going to kill everyone he cares about. That shock, plus the fact that it was him that did it, will break him beyond the point of no return. And I'll be able to take control. To be the real Jaune Arc. For good."
He looked them all over one more time, "I am so glad you three are left. You three are the ones he cares about above all the others." That gave them a mild shock, "His crush, his partner and his best friend. Once I kill you, I win."
He stood up and they all took a few steps back from the sheer killing intent coming off him. "You three should enjoy the time you have left. They can't keep me here forever and when I'm free..." he pointed a finger at them. "I'm coming for you."
They all just stared at him in fear. But that was when Ruby stepped forward and glared at him, "We will stop you. And we will get Jaune back. I won't let you kill my first friend. Someone else I love."
Everyone was taken back from that. That's when Pyrrha stepped forward and placed a hand on her shoulder as she glared at him in turn, "I'll be right there with you." Weiss stepped forward and mirrored the champion but was silent.
The Ghoul just looked at them and chuckled in amusement as he sat back down, "I can't wait to see you try." He looked back at them with psychotic glee. He popped his right index finger. "That'll make this all so much more satisfying in the end."
It was a few hours later, it was dusk and Doctor Oobleck had just relieved Professor Port of his position. He had just unlocked the door to bring him some food. What he saw shocked him. Jaune was on the floor, his back to him and blood was pooling underneath him.
Oobleck dropped the tray of food and ran over to the student, "Mr. Arc?! What happened?!"
He flipped the boy over to show a deep gash across his stomach and the source of the blood. The Doctor quickly pulled up his shirt to get a better look at the wound but was shocked to not see even a mark, just dried blood.
That's when Jaune's eyes opened, his right glowing red. Two tails erupted from under him before the Doctor could react. The first slammed into his stomach and slammed him against the wall, driving the air out of him. That's when the second one hit his head and drove it into the wall. Knocking him out. The Kagune released him and he fell to the floor.
The Ghoul stood up and used his Kagune to break his aura cuffs, feeling his aura being released again. His Kagune retracted into his body and he cracked his wrists afterwards. He then leant down to the professor and took his scroll. He used it to unlock the door and he stepped out. He looked up the hall and saw no one. He started to walk away as the door closed behind him.
He then used the Doctor's scroll to send a message to three people: Meet me where the relics were.
He thought it poetic to end this where it all began. He smirked and released a chuckle as he crushed the scroll in his hand. He then dropped it and sneakily made his way to the Emerald Forest to wait. This would all end tonight.

The room was big compared to him, but still small for human standards, the floor wasn't only cold as well, it was unbearably wet, combined with the temperature it felt like iced water clinging to his feet, clothes and binds, at this rate he was sure he'd get frostbite, luckily his shoes were durable so he still had time before such a thing would happen to his poor tootsies, after a few uncomfortable minutes of climbing over and under boxes to get to his desired location, he arrived to find... a bloodbath... a literal bloody bath, he could see much better now thanks to the hatch above him, the hatch was small and although it was see-through, he didn't doubt how thick it was, after all he couldn't hear the rain currently pelting it, he sees the water droplets just fine, but hearing it was a no go.
Back to the scene at hand, he was looking at a literal tub, full of blood...-bags, no nightmare fuel here, not today, though it is a strange way to store blood bags, he looked at the ground, watching the water at his feet ripple and lurch, almost as if he were... floating... he looked back at the hatch, not seeing any doors means this was likely currently his only way out, he could see the emergency release lever just a few feet above him. He looked closer through the hatch, looking for anything that could give him any clues as to where he may be, and through his observations, he could only see a street lamp.
It seems he's been here all day, and now it was night time, meaning the Mondo Grosso was likely wrapping up at the moment, and Chifuyu-nee would win soon... sadly he knew he was going to miss her big moment, and that thought alone brought some uncomfortable feelings to nearly surface, luckily he was strong enough to suppress them, as this was not the time, nor the place to sulk and feel shame. Instead he absolutely had to escape here, so he wouldn't be used as leverage by his kidnappers to make her forfeit the match, if that was what he was kidnapped for anyway, besides, he'll make her so proud if he escaped on his own, as he thought about how proud she'd be the light above him flickered, snapping him back to reality, he hatched a small plan inside his head to escape, it was incredibly simple even a toddler could think it up, though Tabane-nee would probably shake her head in disappointment and think of something much more complicated just for fun.
So he got to work pushing and lifting boxes and crates here and there to make some sort of staircase, he thought about the way he was kidnapped, he remembered sitting on the couch with a bowl of chips and a can of soda, even when Chifuyu taught him to only eat in the kitchen today was a big day, the day he was sure Chifuyu-nee would win the Mondo Grosso once again just like last year, he remembered trying to get his twin Madoka to enjoy it with him, to which she refused stubbornly, having some sort of grudge of some sort with her though she might have just been jealous.
Instead Madoka had gone to her room, who knows what she does in her spare time when she isn't clinging to him, perhaps she studied for school, or perhaps she takes naps, he may never know as she isn't alone often, the only time she leaves Ichika's side is... well, now that he thought about it she never does leave his side no matter what. 'I hope she's okay...' thought Ichika worriedly as he finished his task and climbed up the makeshift stairway he created and reached out to the lever that was sure to set him free, though it was quite difficult climbing not only because of the bulk of the cuffs and chains, but also because of their unbelievable weight that were almost the reason for his downfall multiple times ever since they were put on.
Finally, finally he had his hands on the object of his freedom, with a strong and defiant pull, the latch came free with surprising ease, he was rewarded with an onslaught of the storm hitting him right in the face. But he was a big boy, a little water wasn't going to slow him down, just to be positive he escaped and to be sure of making his sister's proud and full of happiness, though they would likely never believe him when he tells them of his great escape, it'll still amuse them, he was sure of that much, he pulled himself out of the little room he had been trapped in and looked around almost alarmed. What he saw annoyed him, it seems he was on a large cargo vessel, near a shipyard, but not docked, not it was just floating in the middle of the harbor looking ready to depart. The lamp from before was a security light and the supposed 'room' he was in was a container and that handle it seems was a door out of there.
He facepalmed in embarrassment, glad no one was here to see his misjudgement, but he quickly regained himself, he didn't have time for childish games and looked over to a cord that secured the container where it was, he made his was over and climbed down the cord past four containers, then bolted to where he saw the bridge was, he thought quickly, assessing this new development, he was in the open still in shackles and with no weapon and had no way of leaving the ship, unless he got a lifeboat, he couldn't swim with the damned shackles still on him, at the very least he'd like a way to break the chains of the damn cuffs, that way he'd at least be able to move better. He didn't have time to think further into it when he saw a light approaching from around the corner of the cramped space he currently stood in, he was not going to be caught again after he just escaped, it'd ruin his already poor mood.
Instead of retreating he quickly approached the corner where he saw the light approaching from, he didn't have to worry about anyone hearing him, what with the storm covering all his movements, and pressed up against the container he was at and waited... and there he was a man wearing a uniform of some kind came around the corner, it wasn't a military uniform but a company uniform instead.
thinking quickly Ichika slammed his bulky cuffs and fist into the man's crotch, when he doubled over in reaction to the pain he brought the chain on his cuffs around his neck twisting the dazed man into a choke hold in a kneeling position, then using every ounce of strength in his body he could muster, he drew back fast and hard, the man had no way to support himself and was completely vulnerable to Ichika, he couldn't stand with the combined weight of Ichika's own body as well as the cuffs that held him, it didn't help this was all done by surprise.
After a minute of desperate scrambling he eventually fell to the ground in a cold heap, all fight leaving his body, Ichika silently thanked both his sister's as well as every book he read about the human anatomy, he was only able to knock out bullies with this, but he never tried it in a life threatening situation like so, he did it to many children and maybe a few adults, but now it may have just saved his life, he lowered the man to the ground, quickly pulling his chains away from his bruised neck and searched the man's body for anything useful, like a key to his cuffs. 'That'd help immensely.' thought Ichika.
Though there was no luck in finding said key, he did get a small maintenance light, a keycard, several keys that seem to open anything but his cuffs, a lighter, a butterfly knife, and a company radio. He couldn't carry everything himself so he went back to the man and immediately latched onto his oversized jacket, as he pulled it off to observed it, it was a simple brown zip up jacket with a hood, it was twice his size so he wouldn't be able to move comfortably unless he made... 'Improvements'... after a few minute to himself he made the jacket fit him a little more comfortably, he had trouble getting the cuffs through the sleeves but he did it with otherwise no trouble at all (how he do dat?), he had made it more comfortable by cutting off unneeded extensions as to fit his small form better, he kept the scraps he cut away just in case, you never know after all...
Stuffing everything he could into the various pockets he had and putting the hood over his head to keep the rain from hitting his face, he set out in the direction the man came from, not bothering to hide the body, as he went he made sure the radio he had was turned down, he was not going to be compromised by ear-rape noises from a shitty speaker (I blame bad Vines) he clipped the radio to the utility jacket and held the quite small butterfly knife close to his body, he doubted it could kill anyone but it calmed his rapidly beating heart, yes, even after beating a man into submission with ironically the weapons that were supposed to hinder him, he was still afraid, but he continued to push forward, that's what bravery is after all.
Left, right, right, left, right, left up a little, aaand crossroads... this place was quite big, unnervingly so, he felt like he was in a maze, with no end in sight, he wasn't even sure which he way the bridge was anymore... he observed his surroundings for anything helpful once more, there were various sizes and colors of the cargo container maze he currently walked through nothing but metal, the storm as strong as it had been since it first kissed his skin, and oh so dark, he didn't dare use the flashlight lest it give his position away to his captors.
This kept up for quite some time, him wandering around the maze of containers until finally he found a large bundle of electricity cables at his feet, perfect, now all he had to do was follow them and perhaps find a maintenance line to follow back to the bridge, that was roughly the plan anyway, he didn't have anything better to do at the moment... eventually he found himself at another set of container doors, the line going through them apparently, he didn't even think about what might be within the cargo containers... shrugging, he pushed through the container full of... rubber duckies... is this really what was inside a ship of kidnappers? How absurd, and simply silly, shaking his head and pushing the door that sat on the other side of the container, he was met with the bridge itself, completely lit up, white metal, with the english words high above stating the usual 'NO SMOKING' sign, though usually those sat on oil tankers, he supposed it didn't matter to him, he was simply a boy after all, he didn't have to worry about grown up stuff until... well... he grew up!
He made sure the coast was clear before sprinting over to the door that sat not far away and yanked it open, darting in, then slamming it shut with a sigh of relief, the hallway was well lit up, the lamps swaying ever so slightly, almost unnoticeably so, the hall was short and to the point next to a set of stairs that led up and down the ship, there were pipes here and there of various colors, the floor looked like a factory floor, an ugly brown, but the walls were all white like a lab, doors left and right going into many labeled room, though labeled mostly in english.
This was going to be a headache, now that he was in the bridge he had no idea how to proceed, should he follow the hallways still, perhaps go up or down the stairs... decisions decisions, he could always go back to that maze that's already wasted his time for the past... forty-five minutes perhaps? "Ugh, so frustrating, okay, must make a plan, gotta decide... radio room would help, I could... no, no one would believe me, perhaps they'd believe it was a prank, I can't just say, 'Hi, I'm Ichika Orimura, little brother of Chifuyu Orimura, and I'm currently on an unknown container ship, in an unknown harbour, with unknown people with unknown motives'... yeah... I don't even know where the radio room is. And even when I find one I refuse to call Onee-chan and cost her the win in the Mondo Grosso, heck, that might be exactly what they kidnapped me for, for her to forfeit the win, I won't be the reason that she loses..."
While he had his little monologue out loud he had been wandering the halls the entire time, already lost within the behemoth once again... but it wasn't long until he walked into a container room below deck containing a very alarming sight, he had walked into a room where he heard voices, one voice was smug and sounded quite old, it was obviously a man's voice, the other sounded like it was distorted in some way, though not in a bad way, more like it was from a communicator of some kind, he crept closer, to the voices and cautiously looked in between a set of crates, then he eavesdropped.
"-nd you sound awfully sure of yourself Brunhilde, perhaps you have misheard me, let me spell it out for you again: I have your siblings as my hostages, and I am fully willing to pull the trigger to end both of their lives, if you fail to forfeit the championship, then they will undoubtedly die from your arrogance." said the man, he sounded smug, and there was more than a hint of annoyance in his voice, then Chifuyu responded unexpectedly in an unusually cold hearted tone.
I heard you the first time snob, it is truly disappointing that they'd be kidnapped so easily, perhaps this was a long time coming for them, especially my brother, this should teach him to stop being so dependant on me like he always is, self-reliance is something I had to learn at an early age, I'm not going to save them, if they wish to escape they must do so on their own." she finished in a humor filled tone, this made Ichika wince in hurt. 'Is this really what Chifuyu-nee thinks of me, being entirely dependant on her?... surely she's bluffing... right?' No, he didn't have time for this, he started to sneak away when he started to hear the man yelling angrily at his sister...
No, something else caught his attention in that conversation, apparently they captured Madoka as well, he wasn't going to leave her, there was no way in hell that he was going to leave his twin behind, no matter what. He almost completely departed when he heard the man slam an angered fist into the table he stood at, and he listened to what he had to say. "That slut! How dare she hang up on me, I'll show her, you! Get the girl right now! I'm going to fucking blow her brains out, that'll show the bitch." yelled the man at an unseen subordinate, the subordinate replied with a question: "Why not the boy?" and the first man replied with "She obviously cares a great deal less about the boy, besides, someone else is already bringing him here... though he is running late..." he shook his head, then after a moment of silence he glared. "Don't just stand there you buffoon, get the brat right fucking now, we're on the clock you know!" the second man scrambled to obey, when Ichika heard him coming his way he himself followed his example and scrambled between an opening between some crates, when the man passed, Ichika wasn't far behind, this man was going towards Madoka after all, if he understood correctly, and Ichika was also looking for Madoka, might as well deal with the deck he was dealt.
The man was apparently in a hurry, Ichika almost lost him multiple times but he was a stubborn and clever child and found him easily again without too much trouble, luckily they were close to where she was, after going down many flights of stairs the man went to a small closet looking area, pulling out a set of keys, thinking this was likely the place Ichika jumped from a conveniently placed set of boxes and lunged for the mans back, Ichika threw his arms above the man's head, wrapping the chain around his neck. The force and momentum from the jump as well as Ichika's weighty surprise attack, caused the man slam into the iron door supposedly containing his sister, cracking the view port with his face and falling unconscious almost instantly.
Ichika honestly thought he'd have to suffocate him just like the first guy, but decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth, the key was already inside the lock, he gave the key a careful turn that unlocked the door, and was immediately greeted by darkness, wasting no time he searched for a light switch and flicked it on. After a few moments of looking around he saw her, his poor poor Madoka was suspended from a wall on the far end of the iron closet, she looked like she's been crying for hours, and he could hear her pitiful sobs, Ichika couldn't bare the sight and quickly hobbled over to her, this wasn't the usual Madoka he looked after, the usual Madoka was a spunky spirit... a girl that never cried. "Madoka I'm here, don't worry everything's gonna be completely fine now." he continued to say sweet things to her without pause, while quickly cutting away at her ropes with the butterfly knife he had yet to sheathe, as soon as she was freed she threw herself into his arms, crying softly into his shoulder, he patted her back in a soothing manner, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.
"Let's go home, I can't stand being here anymore..." she quietly stated after a few minutes of calming down thanks to Ichika, thankfully she seemed to be much more composed and allowed her expression to return to it's usual glare. "Well? What're we waiting for? Let's get the hell out of here Twerp." yep, back to her somewhat usual self, he nodded with false confidence and told her of his non-existent plan of escaping, after hearing said plan she was hesitant, although she was the one to usually make the plans, she quickly put trust into the only one who had never steered her wrong, never lied, never lost, she trusted him and him alone with her life... he always put her before himself, so she decided to cooperate with him always, even if she was afraid or believed she'd be a better leader or that they'd somehow fail, as long as he was there everything would be fine, she was sure of it.
And so he winged it, he didn't have a real plan, but as long as he had her fooled and feeling safe he felt at ease, he couldn't bear to see her afraid and unsure of herself, usually she was confident and strong and never needed his support, but right now she needed his support, she needed a plan, and someone to confide in this unfamiliar situation, he was never kidnapped before so he wasn't entirely sure what he was going to do, but he needed to keep his confident facade for her sake.
After multiple flights of stairs and a few hallways he finally made it back to where the angry screaming man was previously, upon entry he noticed he wasn't there, the plan Ichika told Madoka was that they'd contact someone to rescue them, like Tabane-nee or something he didn't mention Chifuyu for her sake, after all Madoka despised Chifuyu for an unknown reason, after multiple attempt at trying and failing to contact Tabane-nee and eventually even Chifuyu-nee he started to contact the police when the man from before walked in: "Hey, what do you think your doing little brat! Where the fuck are my boys?" as he spoke he started to approach with his gun drawn, pointing it threateningly at Ichika, each step he took spelled doom for the boy, Madoka was frozen stiff in fear at the sight of the gun, Ichika was the only one who could bail them from this situation.
When the man was less than three feet away Ichika picked up a coffee cup from the table and spilled the steaming contents on the man's face, weather he was screaming in rage or agony didn't matter to the Orimura boy, taking advantage of the moment Ichika climb onto the table and tackled the man, the man fell easily, surprised that the boy was putting up such a fight so easily, unfortunately he quickly retaliated by pulling his gun up to Ichika who was right above him, Ichika noticed the movement and had one hand firmly grip his wrist while the other was on the man's gun, with one finger where the trigger sat.
After a minute of struggling Ichika finally got the gun to point at the man's head, switched the safety off, and finally blew his brains out, the shot was deafening and shook Madoka out of her paralyzed state, while Ichika just sat on the now noticeably fat man's chest... he was covered in sweat and shaking uncontrollably, panting heavily... he had just killed this man, this man that had kidnapped them and planned to kill him and his sister for a stupid championship... Ichika had experienced his first kill at the age of eight(8) years old while kidnapped to protect himself and his sister... and he had no idea how to feel about it, there wasn't any guilt for sure, he didn't feel angry or sad, not even happy... just...
Empty...
While he sat there in a dazed state covered in the man's blood that now ran down his face, Madoka went to a TV that sat near the table he leaped from, apparently she was curious about the Mondo Grosso as well, as soon as she turned on the TV it went immediately to the Live Broadcast currently watching his sister's match, hearing the ruckus Ichika somewhat snapped his gaze away from the corpse he still sat on, he stood up and sat down in a heap on a chair near Madoka, holding the gun that he killed fatty with, Madoka followed his example and sat on the chair next to him, looking and feeling annoyed, like they completely forgot that they were kidnapped at the moment.
What he saw... made him feel so many emotions that he previously was empty of, he saw Chifuyu delivering her finishing move in her IS... and she looked so happy, if he wasn't currently kidnapped he would have cheered for her... but at this moment he felt many emotions and thoughts run through him, he felt joy that she had won once again, anger that she seemed so happy while he was trapped in this nightmare even after he had just killed someone for the first time in his life and had no one to comfort him, but most noticeable was sadness... he was so sad that she was happy without him... he remembered the way she spoke about him to the fat man, she sounded careless and disappointed... and assumed she was careless when it came to him, and that she was disappointed in his weakness... even after hearing that her only family was kidnapped and that they'd die unless she forfeit, she continued to fight in the Mondo Grosso with that knowledge... did she truly care for him? The joy and anger burned away, being trampled by shame and guilt and so, so much sadness, he felt his heart tighten and tears threaten to spill.
He tore his gaze away reluctantly to stare at the gun in his hands, when he heard the door open and someone walk in, he shot the gun from its resting spot from his knee and shot exactly where he knew the door was without looking, the man that stood in front of the door fell with a cry of pain, yelling curses, without hesitation Ichika stood, walking calmly towards the man he shot, when he was in front of the man he watched as he brought his gun up to kill Ichika, Ichika didn't hesitate to fire into the man's wrist, it wasn't hard considering the distance. The gun dropped and the man started screaming while throwing insults at the boy, Ichika pointed the gun at the man's head and spoke in an unsettlingly calm tone: "Where on this ship can I find a working IS? If you cooperate I will not have to hurt you like I did your boss there." the man looked confused when the boy said this, he looked behind the boy and saw that, indeed, his boss lay in a bloody heap on the floor.
Ichika was on autopilot, an autopilot of what no one knows, he seemed so calm about killing someone just now, and even used the gun like he had it his whole life, and when he spoke it unnerved the man, this was a child they kidnapped isn't it? not some kind of child soldier right? The man decided to take a gamble just this once to the boy, not like the kid can use an IS anyway so why hide the information "There are a few IS stationed on the roof of the ship, what's it matter to you?" the man answered clutching his wounds, upon hearing what he said Ichika paused, why did he want to know that? Then he remembered he had Madoka with him, after a minute of thought he was about to lower his gun when the man lurched for his previously dropped gun, Ichika had no choice but to quickly end his life, by shooting him right in the head, he made sure it was quick, there was no need to make the man suffer, he was just a grunt and he had no time for games.
He grabbed the dropped gun and turned to look at the horrified looking Madoka. "C'mon Madoka, we must escape if we want to celebrate with Chifuyu-nee on her second win..." Ichika said shakily, it seems the weight of killing people was starting to catch up on him already, he wouldn't give it the chance right now, he had to keep the adrenaline pumping. "You just killed him, you said you'd let him live..." Madoka looked unsure of what she were saying, she couldn't believe the kind and gentle brother of hers had just killed someone right in front of her, twice, and didn't even seem bothered by his actions in the least.
"I know, but I can't let that bother me right now, the only thing that matters is keeping you safe Madoka, and even if it kills me, I'll do it, your too important to me, if I gave that man a chance to live he would have hurt us, he would have hurt you... I won't let that happen Madoka, I love you too much." at his words made her unsure feelings turn warm and happy, her heart beat painfully in her chest at his words, and her face flushed... Madoka Orimura was embarrassed.
She didn't have time to process this however when Ichika presented her with one of the pistols he had taken' when she was about to refuse he gave her a pleading look, and said that just in case if she absolutely has to, that she didn't have to use it but it would ease his worry for her, she looked into her murdering brother's eyes and gave a soft sigh and snatched it from his grip. He smiled brightly at her and gave her a look of relief before he motioned for her to follow him, leaving no room to argue.
After a few minutes of walking silently, not counting Ichika's chains rustling the whole way, and soon they were at the top of the stairs, now they just had to climb the ladder leading up, climbing the ladder Ichika opened the hatch without hesitation, when the hatch opened he immediately noticed a change in scenery, for one thing it looked like it was early in the morning, the storm hadn't calmed one bit, but most noticeable of all... they weren't in the harbor anymore, he could only barely make out that Japan was a somewhere off in the distance behind them, he looked around the roof and noticed a few IS... currently being piloted.
"Fuck." Ichika stated the obvious, unfortunately the pilots heard, and upon seeing him, they immediately opened fire without hesitation, Ichika dropped back down through the hatch pulling his twin with him and covering her fall, when they landed Ichika let out a yell of pain when he fell, but quickly recovered and stood up and shouted at Madoka to hurry up and run, they were lucky they moved when they did or they'd be dead, the spot they were previously was full of bullet holes, Ichika didn't even bother returning fire, he knew that small arms fire was useless against an IS unit, after a few minutes of running for their lives, and Ichika repeatedly having to save Madoka from death they found themselves emerging from a lower deck of the ship and appearing back in the container maze, he doesn't know how long they did this benny hill bullshit but somewhere along the line the storm, combined with the IS pilot relentlessly hunting them down got the ship to catch fire, apparently there really was a real reason to have a 'NO SMOKING' sign on the ship, many of the stray bullets caused many things to combust or otherwise explode, now most of the ship was on fire.
There was smoke everywhere, the fire was nipping at their heels, and bullets were flying over their heads, Madoka was shivering furiously, the only thing keeping her moving was fear, adrenaline and bravery, as showed as an example by none other than her twin at the moment, they were surrounded, Ichika returned fire to a few men to were still lurking around with rifles and pistols, in one direction was a fire they had no hope of making it through, in the other were men and women they also had no chance of making it through, no, he wouldn't give them the satisfaction of killing them, Ichika grabbed Madoka's hand and rushed around the fires going through the occasional container until finally, they were trapped.
"Dammit... c-c'mon, we can make it out of this, let's just go back through those container's a-and maybe uh... w-we'll figure it out..." Madoka clutching tightly to her gun, shaking from the adrenaline pumping, as well as clutching at Ichika's arm, Ichika knew she was trying to be brave for his sake, he was too, but he couldn't let that slow him down, there was only one thing he could do at this moment, he turned to his twin and spoke words that would haunt her for the rest of her life: "I know... so in order for you to live, I will be the one that must die."
She looked mortified at his words. "I-Ichika? Stop talking nonsense... we'll find a way out of here... together!" he shook his head sadly and continued. "Madoka, even if we escape this fire, I cannot pilot an IS, and you are in no condition to fly either, even if we escape the monsters that kidnapped us I cannot swim, these chains will pull me down to my death no matter how hard I fight... but just because I will die, that doesn't mean you will too... you aren't bound by chains like I am, you can fly and be free, while I remained a chained for your sake, you will live and I'll follow through with my promise..." she interrupted him. "Shut up twerp! we can find a lifeboat and leave together so just hang on!" she looked around frantically in hopes to find some way for them to both live, but he merely shook his head sadly, grabbing a life vest that hung on a hook nearby and putting her into it while she was distracted. "Even if we find a lifeboat that's not already deployed these people will just capture us again and kill us... please live for me Madoka, I love you... I'm sorry!" he finished strapping her into the vest. "I-ichika? What are you doing? No! STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING! You can't do this! Ichika! Ichika!?" he gave her a hug and a loving kiss to her forehead before he tossed her through the fire that previously obscured their vision to an open gate that lead into the ocean below... but just because he couldn't see her, didn't mean he wouldn't hear her last cry of despair: "ICHIKAAAAAA!~"
The last thing she remembered of her beloved twin brother was his sad smile before he was engulfed in flames and an explosion that she was positive must have killed him. As she fell down into the ocean below the ship only one thought ran through her head, the thought was the embodiment of denial: 'No, he didn't just sacrifice himself so that I would live... he... he can't be dead... I was never able to tell him how I... never tell him... oh please, no...' when she hit the water she looked for a way to get back onto the ship, but before she knew it the ship had left her behind. Even with the chaos currently surrounding the ship, it was still moving with purpose, and propeller's urging the ship onwards at speeds she couldn't hope to keep pace with.
"No! STOP!~ ICHIKA! I... I wasn't ever able to tell you how I felt... no... M-maybe he'll be okay..." she tried to rationalize, as she watched the ship get further and further away she started to regret the way she had treated him... whenever she hit him or yelled at him he always rationalized it as tough love, no matter how many times she cut him, no matter how many broken bones, no matter how many times she declared her hate for him he never stopped loving her... she believed it was just him putting up a tough facade, but one day, when she was being gained up on by a few of their senpais from the kendo club, he was right around the corner... and hadn't allowed a single hit to touch her... at that point she always hid her feelings by acting rashly, pretending to hate him, even when they were inseparable, she always acted like she hated him, no more beating him to near death... but she never once showed she loved or cared for him... just like Chifuyu... she had to keep swimming, to be close when he escapes, to tell him how much she really appreciated him.
After a few minutes of swimming and thinking of a way to... 'show her love.' to him, she saw something that has traumatized her ever since, the ship was engulfed in fire, before being obliterated from somewhere inside... she watched helplessly as it sunk down into the unforgiving ocean floor, the unknown vessel, the unknown organization that kidnapped her twin and herself, and the unknown-no- the known fate of her heroically selfless brother that had sacrificed himself and gotten revenge on those people for doing those terrible and unforgivable things to them... it was too much for her to handle.
'I... lost my chance... I never even said goodbye...'

CHANGE LOCATION
Silver eyes open as their owner wakes up. The rays of the sun hitting her face. Ruby Rose, age fifteen, awakened with a smile on her face. Or should have if she wasn't so stressed.
Groaning, she rolled out of bed placing her bare feet into a pair of slippers that had the Pumpkin Pete's Bunny as the design. It clashes against her Beowulf pajama pants but she didn't care. They were comfortable and they were a gift from Jaune.
It was the simple comforts that the huntress-in-training could only take comfort in recently.
Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Ruby looked at the clock and saw it was 9 o'clock. Thankfully it was Saturday, so she wasn't going to get reprimanded by her partner Weiss. For the past three months, she hasn't done that, thankfully, since Ruby was doing better in class.
After doing so, Ruby looked around her dorm room. Yang's bed was messy. This means her sister probably hanging out with her friends from Beacon or training on her own. Blake's bed was neatly done. That meant her quiet teammate was out there either in the library or the bookstore. And of course, Weiss was missing as well, probably at breakfast or studying.
Grabbing her clothes from her drawer, Ruby went and took a quick shower. "It's Saturday but I have nothing to do," Ruby sighed underneath the water. "I finished all my homework already. Maybe I should ask the rest of the team if they want to hang out?"
That made her grin, hanging out with her friends. Brothers, ever since the start of the semester she didn't get to have much fun, but maybe Weiss will allow it this time. Drying herself off, Ruby put on her regular clothes, not forgetting to put on her cape, and went out to start her day.
As she exited the room, she paused and looked at the room for what remained of JNPR. Only Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha were left. Ozpin, cowed by the Council of Vale, was forced to keep the team on. Namely, after their debacle of Jaune Arc, they did not want to lose Pyrrha Nikos back to her home kingdom.
This is not good, I just learned that my brother has been kidnapped by a group of terrorists , wanting Japan to hand over all of their I.S. cores or they will execute him. The German military gave me this information but in return they want me to go to Germany and train their next generation of I.S. pilots. Right now me and a group of both German and Japanese special forces are waiting for the call marking the hour before the deadline. The Germans are going trace it back to their hideout and we are going to kick down their door and get my brother back.
"Fraulein Chifuyu the transmission is coming through" said one of the German operators as the screen came alive with image of a masked man with another one in the background.
"Hello, there ladies and gentlemen" said the man, is voice had a sarcastic tone to it "remember if you do not bring I.S. cores to the designated spot then we will execute the hostage" for emphasis the man brought out a large knife. "you have one hour so-" before he could continue a hail of bullets killed both him and his partner. And into the screen walked my brother, Ichika. He had an odd look in his eyes like he was in a daydream. "Ichika!" I said surprised. He snapped out of his daze.
"what? Chifuyu? What are you doing on the computer?" that idiot, doesn't he know where he is.
"What about you?" I reply.
"well apparently I got kidnapped" he said, yeah that's obvious "then I broke out found this gun laying around, and now I'm here, and holy crap I just killed two guys!" and now he was panicking.
"Ichika listen to me" I said, gaining his attention. "just stay there and I'll come get you"
"What?" he asked "don't you have a tournament to compete in"
"Idiot, this is more important!" I yelled
"But doesn't it only happen once every four years?" he said "listen, sis I can handle this all I have to do is avoid everyone else, right?"
"But ichika!" I protested
"It'll be fine" he said, I have no idea where he's getting his confidence from "call the police or something. Crap I hear footsteps, listen just complete the tournament I'll be fine." With that the transmission got cut.
"Kid has some balls" said one of the German soldiers, who was a veteran evident by several scars on his face, two over his right eye and two in an x-shape on his left cheek "We'll go save your brother while you do what he asks, don't worry we'll get him back in one piece"
Back at the terrorist hideout
Crap why did I say that I could really have used some help, ah geez I am screwed! Okay, okay don't panic, you are a man if you said you can get yourself out of this, then you are going to get yourself out of this!
As I ran down the halls I could hear yelling I guess they discovered the bodies or me escaping... or both. I still can't believe that I killed a guy, how easy it was. My sister once had me hold a real sword in elementary school, the thing was heavy and I could barely keep it up, she explained that was the weight of a human life how hard it was to kill someone. Now I just pick up some random gun off the ground and effortlessly kill two guys. Gun beats sword I guess.
I stop at the edge of a hall corner. There were two guards talking.
"We have to be on high alert" said one, taking his finger of an ear mic.
"Why" asked the other
"Apparently the hostage escaped" said the first
"What?" said the other "isn't he just a kid?"
"Yeah but the security team found some glass with blood on it and the second in command along with the communications operator dead"
"Holy crap, brutal brat isn't he?"
"You can say that again." And they can continue on I stealthily follow them and sneak by them when they turn down another hall and break into a run I was able to go past several hallways before I see something out of the corner of my eye. It was girl who was about nineteen the same age as my sister. When I see her face I recognize her as one of the competitors against my sister in the I.S. tournament. Which means she's a pilot. And considering where we are she's probably working for these guys. I slide to a halt and we look at each other. She had a surprised look on her face.
"What are you doing out of your cell!?" she yelled.
"Escaping." I replied
"Like hell you are!" and she deployed her I.S. and I take of running, now is probably a good time to explain this, well an I.S. is a sort of power armor, that for some reason only females can operate, they outclass every modern weaponry and just one could waste an army. So the reason these terrorists want the I.S. cores is because those are the central part of an I.S. and can be used to build new I.S.. well all you really need to know it's a advance suit armor widely accepted as a unstoppable war machine. I am really, really screwed right now.
"Crap, crap, crap!" I said while running, and being chased by the armored lady. The suit was bulky and could barely fit in the hallway so that probably means she can't maneuver that well.
"Get back here!" she yelled, yeah like that's happening. You know running from something that can fly as fast as fighter jet seems kind of pointless, but it's this or die, but luckily I see a ladder in front of me and I quickly climb up it. The pilot not being able to stop fast enough crashes destroying part of the wall and ladder. I ignore and keep climbing until I reach a hatch and pull myself up and end up in a rundown section of a harbor apparently I was underground. Makes sense a terrorist group would have base here and underground. Little to no traffic, out of the, way and no one would suspect it. My thoughts are cut short as the I.S. pops out of the ground.
You little punk!" she was pissed "either come quietly or I will hurt you" I don't answer instead I unload the clip of my gun at her. Compared to an I.S. this gun is little more than pea shooter, because to make the I.S. even more resilient they have a shield. When gun was empty she just had an incredulous look on her face "Done yet?" oh hell no! and I take off running into a rundown warehouse and hide behind some crates.
I notice something with me behind the crate it was an RPG and it was loaded, seriously these people leave around to many valuable weapons! Not that I'm complaining, I take the RPG and aim it at the door and I can hear the mechanical footsteps of the I.S. coming. I may have been exaggerating earlier when I said the I.S. were unstoppable, they are tough but you just need some serious firepower to take them down, off course the I.S. usually pack weaponry of their own being larger versions of conventional weapons. The I.S. enters the ware house and aim the RPG at it.
"Come out little boy." She said tauntingly "I won't hurt you...much" she ahd a creepy smile when she said this. I fire the RPG and fire explosion enveloped the I.S.. I also think that I might be a natural with weapons. "You brat..." said the pilot with her machine emerging "I was going to go easy on you but your too much of a pain, time lose some limbs" oh crap, and I'm out of rockets, so I did the only thing that comes to mind, it through the empty RPG launcher at her and took off running again "That's right little boy run." That lady is creepy.
I go into another abandoned building it wasn't the ware house, it was the old port authority building and you know what I found in there more weapons. What is with these people? And what is with national security, they should keep an eye on crap like this! Well I pick up a china lake pump action grenade launcher and load some grenades into it. Video games make for great weapon training simulators, don't they? Then the wall exploded and I.S. was there with a big freaking sword! I shield my face from some small debris flying at me.
"Kid just surrender and I'll make dismemberment less painful" yeah that's great incite for surrender, why I don't I just kill myself and save you trouble? When did I become so sarcastic? Well anyways I pumped a round into the chamber and fired it and exploded I used that to grab a belt of 40mm grenades. The I.S. is close behind as I run out of the other end of the port authority building. I need to be smart about this and find a place roof to limit her mobility but enough room where I won't kill myself with a grenade. I find another warehouse and role into the entrance just avoiding the large sword.
"Is running and hiding all you can do?" she taunted. I quickly got up and aimed the grenade launcher at
"Not anymore" I said with a cocky smirk and fired three consecutive grenades at her each one hitting her. She charges and I roll out of the way just barely avoiding being ran over by the mechanical suit. I was only able to reload the grenade launcher with two rounds before needing to dodge again but then she back hands me with a large mechanical hand and I get knocked on my back and slide away a ways. It hurt, but this actually helped me as it gave good enough distance to safely fire the grenade launcher I aim and unload another round at her after this one though I hear warning sounds go off on her suit. I must have wore her down enough.
I thought I.S. pilots where the best of the best!" I taunted "and here your having trouble dealing with a middle school boy!"
"You brat!" she said through gritted teeth and charged she is even more angry now so she is probably not thinking straight. I dodge her charge easily and she rams her sword into some shipping containers that were behind me but these were full as baking flower was coming out, I must have made my way into the current part of the harbor during all that running this gives me an idea. I've heard of this thing called a dust explosion if you ignite flammable dust in a low wind or enclosed environment it makes an explosion. I run towards the exit while using my right arm to aim the launcher and fire the other grenade into a container and the result was a giant fireball coming at me I make it out of the warehouse before it hits but the force of the explosion threw me against another warehouse, but I was still alive. I hurt like hell though. As the fire dies down I realize just how tired I am and drift into unconsciousness as I do I notice a group of armed men approaching me, I hope those aren't the terrorist not like I could do anything if they were. I finally black out as I realize I just done something considered impossible.
Newscast three days later
Three days ago during the Mondo Grosso I.S. tournament one of the contestants brother was taken captive by group of terrorist wanting Japans I.S. cores. His name is Ichika Orimura brother of the reigning champion Chifuyu Orimura. He apparently not only managed to escape but to do something that could recognized as an impossible feat and defeated an I.S., the pilot of the I.S. was contestant in the tournament but was knocked out early on and ended up being part of the terrorist group kidnapping Ichika Orimura. Data received from her now confiscated I.S.'s core show how the battle between the two took place after that both combatants lost consciousness and were retrieved by a task force composing of German and Japanese special forces, who then proceeded to take out the terrorist hideout.
