After Peter chatted with Korg for a while, he finally confirmed that this "Stone Man" wasn't that "Stone Man."
At least, he really didn't know anyone like Mister Fantastic or Invisible Woman.
Hope dashed.
Peter wasn't particularly disappointed; he'd just been trying his luck, figuring he had nothing to lose.
After getting the answers he wanted from Korg, Peter excused himself and returned to Stark and the others.
Stark was discussing the "final battle location" with Thor and the others.
They'd initially wanted to find an uninhabited planet near Asgard as the battleground.
But Thor told him that Asgard was located in a unique star region, which could even be considered a unique "Asgardian Micro-Universe."
In this "micro-universe," there are no other uninhabited planets.
However, outside of this "Asgardian Micro-Universe," there are quite a few uninhabited planets.
Coincidentally, this Asgardian Ship has a star chart of the nearby area.
So, after some analysis, they chose a planet named Kampa Star.
First of all, according to a normal cosmic navigation route, after leaving the Asgardian Micro-Universe, if one wants to go to Earth, they need to go to a nearby Star Gate.
A so-called Star Gate is an entrance to an interstellar route that appears in the universe due to special reasons, generally an area about the size of a planet.
Within this area, the barrier between the material universe and the Dark Universe is the weakest.
At this point, you only need to accelerate the ship to near the speed of light to enter the Dark Universe for travel.
In the material universe, a ship can never accelerate to the speed of light.
But when in the Dark Universe, it can easily break through the speed of light limit, and even use "light-years" as the basic unit for interstellar travel.
Even if it's billions of light-years, sometimes it only takes a few days or even a few hours of travel.
This Kampa Star is located right on the route from the Asgardian Micro-Universe to the Star Gate near the Solar System.
At the same time, this route is also the place where Strange predicted the Black Order of Thanos was most likely to attack!
Because once you enter the Dark Universe, it's very difficult to find an Asgardian Ship in the Dark Universe.
And if they reach the Star Gate near the Solar System, at the speed of the Asgardian Ship, it's estimated that it will only take a few days to reach Earth.
Then Thanos would have lost his best opportunity.
Since Thanos had planned this long ago, he shouldn't miss this opportunity!
Secondly, Kampa Star was once a planet teeming with life.
However, the intelligent lifeforms there were wiped out due to a civil war, leaving only mutated monsters on the planet.
These monsters weren't worth much and were extremely aggressive.
Except for some bored, thrill-seeking cosmic nobles who occasionally ordered people to capture them, no one else came near the place.
Another key point—Kampa Star had an atmosphere!
Although its composition wasn't the same as Earth's, it could, to some extent, allow Peter and the other Earth warriors to fight in a familiar "home field" environment.
After confirming their objective, Strange opened a Star Gate again—Strange felt like he'd become a blue cat, constantly opening doors.
The Star Gate flickered, and three planes from Earth went through.
Only the Asgardian Ship was still slowly flying towards Kampa Star in space.
It would serve as bait to lure Thanos.
After Peter followed Stark and the others to Kampa Star, he found that the environment here was indeed quite harsh.
Looking around, it was all red soil, and he didn't know if it was caused by excessive iron content.
In the vast red desert, there were occasional long, strip-shaped Sand Worms ranging from several meters to dozens of meters in length.
They rolled in the sand, sometimes fighting with each other, very barbaric.
Fortunately, Strange chose a Red Stone Mountain that hadn't been completely eroded to land.
Then, they used this Red Stone Mountain as a base, built some simple defenses, and began to wait for Thanos to arrive.
They waited for a week.
That day, Peter, bored out of his mind, dragged the equally bored Hulk and Korg to the red desert.
The red sand beneath their feet immediately began to churn, and countless Sand Worms surged towards them from all directions.
Peter wasn't fazed in the slightest.
This scene happened every day these past few days.
It seemed that the only life form on this planet were Sand Worms.
And these Sand Worms were extremely fond of killing, especially sensitive to the presence of non-Sand Worm creatures.
The Red Stone Mountain, which served as their temporary base, had a device to shield against the scent, yet it was still attacked almost daily.
And once they left Red Stone Mountain, these Sand Worms would swarm them like sharks smelling blood.
"Hulk, let's see who can hit more!" Peter said excitedly.
"Hulk won't lose!" Hulk roared, and then jumped out directly.
He jumped dozens of meters high, arched his body in mid-air, and clenched his fists, slamming down hard.
Boom!
A Sand Worm, which was forty meters long, had its huge head smashed by Hulk, and its entire body slammed into the sand with Hulk.
Peter was not to be outdone.
He leaped high into the air, and with an uppercut, he sent a Sand Worm over thirty meters long flying high up.
He didn't use any web, just relying on his physical strength.
Then, he grabbed a larger tooth from the top of the Sand Worm's head and threw it up.
This giant Sand Worm was like a rope, whipping around flexibly in Peter's hands.
The Sand Worms that got hit by it stiffened up, some even getting pulled out of the sand.
Stone Man Korg looked at the messy desert with a worried expression: "You two, why do you always make such a mess? Can't we even have a proper Stone fight?"
With that, he curled up into a ball and rolled rapidly across the red sand.
The Sand Worms he bumped into were like bowling pins, crashing heavily to the ground.
"Haha, Hulk, you're three behind me!" Peter used the giant Sand Worm in his hand as a whip, making a cracking sound as he honed his group combat skills.
Hulk was like a human-shaped catapult, jumping around on the ground, constantly smashing Sand Worms to death. He heard this and retorted, "But Hulk smashed bigger ones!"
"But we're only counting the number, not the size!" Peter shouted.
"We won't lose on numbers either!" Hulk roared.
Just then, Friday's voice suddenly came through the earpieces of the three: "Mr. Peter, Mr. Hulk, Mr. Korg, please return to base immediately to prepare for battle. The Asgardian Ship is under attack by Thanos's army!"
