"Do you think it's possible to hunt down a cow or sheep here?" Serena asked Theo the next morning while they were preparing breakfast.
"Huh?" Theo glanced up at her,furrowing his eyebrows at her sudden question. "Oh… That's at least a five day trip because the nearest herds are probably west from here. Though Jason would have a better idea of that one…"
Serena pursed her lips at those words. A five day trip didn't seem like much, but that was five days that they couldn't put towards preparing for the cold season.
Which would be around two weeks time according to what Merinda had said. And they were yet to complete the cold season preparation mission with two items left - stocking up on plants and meat.

"Is there something you need?" Theo asked.
"I need some animal fat." Serena answered bluntly. "Those animals would be best, but I guess I can work with boar or deer instead. They'll be easier to hunt right?"
