She was near the eastern window. She'd been near windows for most of the meeting, which was not accidental.
"Or in the next several days," Cael confirmed. "Before he finalizes the strike team's approach route, he'll want a current assessment." He paused. "That's actually our first advantage. He needs to send people close enough to observe accurately. Close enough to observe is close enough to catch."
The room held this.
Lyra noted it.
"What's the second thing he does," Satou said.
"He prays," Cael said.
A brief silence.
