Ciel's POV
The waves pressed against me, heavy and relentless, but I kept moving forward, toward her.
Finally, I reached her. My hands shook as I slowly took hers, trying to ground her—but the waves weren't just around her; they vibrated through me, thrumming with raw, chaotic energy.
"Serena!" I screamed, pulling her closer. Panic clawed at my chest. This wasn't good. Her mind, her body… they were starting to collapse. I could feel her magical tremor, fragile and jagged, like glass cracking.
"Ugh…" I gritted my teeth, pouring every ounce of my magic into her. I cast the stabilization spell, trying to anchor her. But it barely held.
"Serena, please!" I begged, desperation choking me. "Stay with me. Please … stay with me !"
Even as I fought, the waves surged stronger. Things were getting worse, and I could only hope I could help her before this became too late.
