And knowing herself, she wouldn't be able to lie if he asked. Not to a man as intelligent as Chibuzor. She might expose herself without even meaning to.

Normal. Calm. Almost too calm.

The atmosphere had been painfully awkward just moments ago, yet now he sounded like nothing strange had happened at all. Was he trying to save her face? Pretending everything was fine so she wouldn't feel embarrassed for even thinking something like that about him?
