The training yard was at the back of the Red House, behind the infirmary and the storage halls, and in the morning it was loud enough to hear from most of the building's eastern half. Nero had noticed it but was unable to make use of it because all of his training with Sergeant Vane had taken place in the indoor arena.
The yard was where the Templars trained after all.
It was quite large. Since the Red House was at the very corner of the City, there was a lot of space dedicated to it. In reality, the largest reason for this, was because the Garrison was run by the church. It was even bigger than the Garrison lf the City's guard within Liedenstorm, at least five times as big.
While the Thorne Empire had its own military force, it was merely an afterthought when compared to the behemoth that was the Church, specifically, the Crimson Crucible Order. The Order accounted for the majority of the Church's combatants, so it was the unofficial militant order.
