The fall didn't happen in one room, and it didn't happen in one hour.
It happened exactly the way Theo said it would-slowly, publicly and without shouting.
Danielle sat at the small table in the briefing room, her hands folded neatly in front of her. Her posture was calm.
Her face was composed while cameras were pointed at her again, but this time she was not announcing anything. She was answering.
A reporter asked, "Mrs. Hale, do you stand by your accusations against the president."
Danielle looked directly into the camera. "Yes. I stand by the documents, the testimonies, and the signatures that prove them."
Another voice followed. "Do you deny that the president requested medical evaluations for political opponents?"
"I do not deny it," Danielle replied. "I confirmed it."
She slid a folder across the table.
