On the tall hybrid steed, clad in heavy armor, Alama gazed into the distance at the vast fields of the Demon Race's forces, his brow slightly furrowed, filled with confusion.
Sigmund... unexpectedly abandoned the defensive advantage and range boost of the Crimson Tower and chose to engage in a fair field battle with him?
His original plan this time was to use the "War Chariot," a kind of ultra-long-range weapon, to harass the other side and force Sigmund to come out and fight. Now, just as the harassment had begun, the opponent abandoned their defense.
Alama did not deny that Sigmund's army, in terms of overall strength, was superior to his own, but it clearly wasn't at an overwhelming level.
In a frontal battle, Alama also had a reasonable chance of victory.
Sigmund couldn't possibly be unaware of this.
Has the commander been replaced? Or is there a trap he's unaware of?
