Chapter 14 - Releasing Anger!Anger!

Chapter 14: Releasing Anger!

Anger!

A type of emotion that leads a person's life to situations not to be envied, for with it a person loses control over their nerves and feelings, becoming a slave to this sensation.

An anger fit can sometimes end with catastrophic actions a person might regret their whole life, but this time is different for Aiden.

Yes, he felt anger, but not at the world—rather at the deceitful nature of humans. He felt anger at the deception, hypocrisy, and those contemptuous looks he was given.

Aiden stood in his place, started breathing deeply, and began calming his feelings.

He swept his gaze over the remaining living members of the rabbit army, then turned it towards those lying on the ground, swimming in their blood.

He began contemplating the scenes of blood, remembering that ominous day he would never forget, and remembering those rumors people used to spread about his family.

Although he was certain his family was innocent of anything, he couldn't bear all of this at this moment.

He was reliving the moment now in his memory as if it were happening now, so anger was seeping from him. If someone tried to look at him closely, they would notice his bulging veins and his fierce, harsh gaze.

He had none of those people before him to vent his anger on, and there wouldn't be any in the future, after all... the city they were in had now become a cemetery for them. But he had a group of evil rabbits before him who came with the aim of invasion or something of the sort.

Therefore, he no longer had any reservations and advanced to vent his anger on this remaining group.

*Whoosh!*

Aiden moved with incredible speed, like an unstoppable rocket, and suddenly appeared in front of a group of rabbits. He didn't use the rod in his hand but punched directly in the face.

*Crack!*

A sound of bone shattering came out, as if this rabbit's face was crushed by an unbearable weight. Then he was sent flying onto a building ledge and collided with such high force that it shattered all his bones.

Aiden wasn't satisfied with this; he kicked one in the stomach with all his might, and another in his most precious area, where you could clearly hear the sound of eggs cracking.

Three strikes... triple kill.

"Hahaha, this is fun!"

Aiden became bolder now, entering confrontations inside groups consisting of any number of enemies. He didn't need any support, just himself, his speed, and his fists.

Speaking of support, the skeleton was also doing a good job on the other side.

It was engaging in one-on-one confrontations while being surrounded by a group of rabbits from every direction. It wasn't afraid of death because it was dead to begin with.

It advanced without fear, swung its sword, and unleashed its special skill:

"[Bone Cleave]"

"Whoosh"

"Kikiki"

Its skeletal mouth began to smile and emit a bony impact sound; if anyone focused, they would notice it was laughing a devilish laugh.

*Splash!*

The humanoid rabbit couldn't withstand this attack and was cut diagonally, cutting through half of the left arm, the heart area, reaching the liver, then to the right palm.

Entrails and blood scattered like a waterfall. The humanoid rabbits were terrified to look and started rushing in a group towards it, attacking from all directions at the same time.

The skeleton used the skill "[Bone Cleave]" a second time, but this time it was blocked by four humanoid rabbits, and the fifth rabbit attacked the skeleton's arm and cut it off, causing the sword to fall from its hand.

The skeleton wasn't affected by this; it activated its second skill: "[Bone Punch]" and directed a punch with its intact hand.

*Boom!*

Its fist collided with the rabbit that disarmed it and threw it forcefully onto a building, shattering its entire body, then...

*Crack!*

*Crash!*

The remaining intact part of the building collapsed on it, crushing it completely.

Then the skeleton freed itself from the siege it was in, grabbed its severed hand, and placed it back in its place, where something surprising happened.

A faint golden light emanated from the fracture site and began swirling in the form of small, barely visible whirlpools, as if stitching the wound, then... it reattached the arm to its place!

"!?"

When Aiden saw this scene, he was shocked—well, not shocked, but surprised. This was none other than the skill he had acquired.

"[Healing]?!"

Aiden was surprised by the skeleton using his own skill, and what astonished him even more was that this skill was holy!... How could a dead thing use something it rejects and seeks to purify?

"Strange"

Aiden whispered to himself, then didn't think much about it. If his summon could use his skills, that was the best thing that could happen.

*Crack! Crash!*

He shattered the head of one of the rabbits and left it, then swept his gaze around the area and saw what his hands had done.

He saw more than 80 humanoid rabbits lying in various ways, drowning in their crimson, coagulated blood.

Aiden sighed deeply and calmed himself, then threw the iron rod from his hand and found a place to rest after all this hard work. Then he turned his gaze towards his summon's location, which was facing the last group of enemies.

He was like a worker who finished his assigned tasks and waited for his colleague to finish his own duties.

And so the battle continued between the skeleton and the remaining group of humanoid rabbits. This battle was characterized by the fall of a part of the skeleton's bones due to the brave attacks of the opponents and the healing of the skeleton's severed part using [Healing].

It was a battle of attrition in every sense of the word!

Cut!

Heal!

Cut!

Heal!

The skeleton was somewhat suppressed by the rabbits' strategy, but...

This wasn't any ordinary entity; this was a monster that doesn't feel fatigue, exhaustion, or fear. As long as its owner had any ounce of energy, it would fight to the end.

Although the energy it consumes from Aiden is nothing, maybe even a thousandth of his energy. Yes, a thousandth. You might think and ask, how is this?? The answer lies in the summoning skill.

The most consumption that comes with this skill is only during the initiation of the summoning. The energy required to open a gate between the summoner's world and the summoning world has a somewhat high cost, maybe 10% of total energy at minimum, and this depends on the number and rank of the summon.

As long as the summoner has energy, they can keep these summons present indefinitely according to the cost needed to stay in this world. After all, it is an intruder that doesn't belong to this environment.

...

And after several minutes of back and forth between the rabbits and the skeleton, the skeleton finally managed to eliminate the last individual of the humanoid rabbits. Immediately after that...

*Whooosh!*

A suffocating pressure launched from where the "Rabbit" world gate was. Aiden noticed the gate beginning to distort frighteningly, as if something was pressing on it from every direction. After that—

*Boom!*

An explosion sound that shook the sky and the earth, as if time and space froze in place. The gate's shape became more turbulent and deformed until... its glow began to fade bit by bit until—

*Whoosh!*

"It disappeared?!"

It vanished from existence as if it had never been there in the first place. All that remained in its place was the crater resulting from its fall from the sky. But to Aiden's astonishment, a mechanical sound erupted in his mind.

>[Ding! You have destroyed your first world gate. You have obtained the title "Gate Breaker!"]

>[Ding! First to eliminate a magical creature in the world. You have obtained a chance to acquire an Imaginary Skill!]

>[Ding! You have eliminated an entire army single-handedly. You have obtained the title "Will of the Multitude."]

>[Ding! You have obtained all achievements of your opponents!]

>[Ding! You have obtained: Thrust (Level 4), Rabbit Jump (Level 7)]

"..."

Aiden couldn't say anything. He wanted to speak but... didn't know where to start. Should he start with the strange sound he kept hearing frequently, the strange titles, or the skills he obtained? He couldn't find any words.

"Hoooh!"

He breathed deeply and tried to calm his mind, for tension and confusion wouldn't help with anything. Then he turned his gaze to the screen before him and the writings pulsating with life.
