Chapter 155 - Ah Yin’s Joy

On the arena stage.

Zhou Sidong blocked Tang San's attacks with just one hand. The Clear Sky Hammer turned into a blur as Tang San swung it relentlessly, yet even so, Zhou Sidong remained completely undefeated.

When Zhou Sidong once again seized the Clear Sky Hammer with one hand and yanked Tang San in front of him, the corner of Tang San's mouth lifted slightly. From his left hand came a faint, almost imperceptible click. A silver crossbow bolt shot out from his sleeve.

The Silent Sleeve Arrow was activated!

Tang San naïvely believed the bolt would pierce through Zhou Sidong's abdomen and kill him on the spot.

Instead, the bolt only pierced Zhou Sidong's clothes, scraping his abdomen and producing sparks.

Tang San saw everything clearly. His eyes filled with disbelief as he suddenly looked up at Zhou Sidong.

What met him was Zhou Sidong's massive fist. With a single punch, Tang San was sent flying—his face caved in, blood spraying everywhere!

"Still daring to use the Silent Sleeve Arrow? You really are a despicable little villain."

Zhou Sidong pulled out the bolt, then flashed in front of Tang San and yanked the Silent Sleeve Arrow device from his left arm.

"Everyone saw that, right? Tang San brought a weapon onto the stage and attempted to ambush me!"

Zhou Sidong immediately presented the evidence to the public, along with the torn clothing on his abdomen.

Ning Fengzhi recognized the hidden weapon at once—it was the Silent Sleeve Arrow, listed among the hidden weapons once purchased by the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.

"Truly a despicable villain!"

"Like master, like disciple—just as despicable as his teacher Yu Xiaogang!"

"Speaking of that useless teacher Yu Xiaogang, why haven't we seen him at all?"

"I saw him near the entrance earlier, wrapped up tightly, being pushed by Liu Erlong, the vice dean of Shrek Academy. Looks like that useless 'Master' came to the Heaven Dou Grand Soul Arena too."

"..."

Mockery erupted one after another. Tang San gasped for breath, his face burning with pain. He clenched his teeth, staring at Zhou Sidong with resentment and fury, mixed with a trace of killing intent.

"Hidden weapons—tools meant to be used in the dark? The Soul Fighting Arena is a sacred place for fair and just duels, yet your presence here is like a rat droppings ruining the whole pot of soup! A despicable villain who resorts to hidden weapons because he's inferior—hurry up and die like your useless teacher Yu Xiaogang!"

Tang San remained silent. He no longer had the strength to retort.

With the Silent Sleeve Arrow publicly exposed and the evidence irrefutable, Tang San could only endure the verbal onslaught from the crowd!

Some even cursed his ancestors for eighteen generations—and the immortals too.

"Zhou Sidong! I, Tang San, swear that in this life I will definitely kill you!"

Tang San shouted with tear-filled eyes.

Today's match had utterly destroyed his reputation, turning him into a public enemy.

Zhou Sidong casually picked at his ear and said flatly, "In the end, it's still just empty talk. Just like you said back then—are you only good at running your mouth?"

Tang San was so enraged his chest heaved violently, his face twisted. Gripping the Clear Sky Hammer, he leapt into the air. The massive hammer in his hands began to expand, its enormous head crashing down toward Zhou Sidong!

"The so-called number one weapon martial soul—so what if you're a twin martial soul user?"

Zhou Sidong flipped the Clear Sky Hammer away with one hand. With a tap of his foot, he appeared before Tang San in the next second and delivered dozens of resounding slaps across Tang San's face!

The corner of Zhou Sidong's mouth curved upward as he said softly, "If the Clear Sky Hammer had soul rings attached, it might pose some threat to me. But now… in your hands, it's nothing but scrap metal. And that Blue Silver Grass of yours—just like you—rotten."

The speaker may not have meant it deeply, but the listener took it to heart.

Tang San was knocked off the arena and slammed to the ground below. He was covered in blood, his face swollen, limbs limp and powerless—completely unable to continue fighting.

Only Zhou Sidong remained on the stage. As for Shrek Academy, all seven members had already been carried off. They were seriously injured, but fortunately the next round of promotion matches would begin in a month, giving them ample time to recover.

"Victory goes to Heaven Dou Royal Academy Second Team!"

The host immediately announced the result.

With Shrek Academy's defeat, the preliminary rounds of this year's tournament came to an end.

Zhou Sidong looked at Tang San being carried away, his eyes wide open, staring—staring fiercely!

Zhou Sidong casually raised his middle finger. Tang San, enraged, flipped off the stretcher and crashed face-first onto the ground!

"Tang San doesn't have Yu Xiaogang's thick skin—this should've ruined his face, right?"

Zhou Sidong left. After regrouping with "Zhu Zhuqing" outside the Heaven Dou Grand Soul Arena, the two quickly shook off the crowd and returned to Qian Renxue's residence via a hidden passage in the city.

Back at the residence, Zhou Sidong shook his hand. He had slapped Tang San too hard earlier—his entire arm was sore and aching.

"This time you injured Tang San severely. For the next month, he'll be bedridden. Finally, some peace and quiet. There's still a month before the promotion matches—what are your plans?"

"Zhu Zhuqing" asked.

"A month… I plan to return to the Spirit Hall to take care of Zhuqing. With my speed, a round trip to Heaven Dou City only takes eight days. I can spend the remaining twenty-two days with her. Or… you could come with me. It's pretty boring staying alone in Heaven Dou City."

Zhou Sidong suggested.

"Who says I'm bored? I'm not bored at all here. With someone keeping me company, how could I be bored? You should hurry back and accompany the other me."

"Zhu Zhuqing" urged.

"Zhuqing, are you jealous?"

Zhou Sidong raised an eyebrow and gently wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"Who's jealous? That's another me—why would I be jealous of myself?"

"Zhu Zhuqing" pouted, clearly contradicting herself.

"As if I don't know you. Don't worry—after the child is born, you'll be his mother too. And after the tournament ends, let's have a child of our own. How does that sound?"

Zhou Sidong rested his head on her fragrant shoulder and teased with a smile.

"No! Who wants to have a child with you?!"

"Zhu Zhuqing" broke free from his embrace, blushing as she hurried back inside.

Watching her retreating figure, Zhou Sidong simply smiled and said nothing.

"Damn you, Zhou Sidong! I, Ma Hongjun, will never rest until one of us is dead!"

Shrek Academy's infirmary.

Ma Hongjun was wrapped head to toe in bandages. Among the seven, he had lost the most face—his clothes shattered, dignity completely exposed. His hatred toward Zhou Sidong surged like an unstoppable flood.

On the other side, Xiao Wu was still unconscious, her face swollen like a pig's head. Dai Mubai fared better—he had merely been knocked out, though his head still felt dizzy.

As for Ning Rongrong, Oscar, Jiang Zhu, and the others, their injuries weren't serious and would heal after a few days' rest.

The most severely injured among them was Tang San. His face was swollen beyond recognition, covered in slap marks from Zhou Sidong's relentless barrage.

Tang Hao hid in the shadows, witnessing his son's defeat and humiliation. As a father, he was powerless.

He was no longer a match for Zhou Sidong. If he wanted his son to grow stronger, the only option was to rapidly increase Tang San's soul power.

Soul power cultivation required time and accumulation. Aside from the immortal-grade herbs Zhou Sidong possessed, only soul bones could provide such an effect.

Yet soul bones were no less rare than immortal herbs.

Helpless, Tang Hao could only seek another way.

Tang San lay alone on the sickbed, Xiao Wu beside him. The young couple truly matched—both with faces swollen beyond comparison.

"If the Clear Sky Hammer had soul rings attached, it might pose some threat…"

Zhou Sidong's casual remark echoed repeatedly in Tang San's mind, disturbing his thoughts.

"Let the Clear Sky Hammer absorb a soul ring in advance?"

The moment this idea surfaced, Tang San crushed it immediately.

"No, I can't do that."

He was torn inside. On one side was his father's instruction; on the other, Zhou Sidong's bewitching voice kept echoing in his mind, stirring waves in his heart.

"If I had immortal-grade herbs, would I have suffered today's defeat?!"

Tang San placed all the blame on Zhou Sidong. Ever since encountering him, nothing had gone right.

Late at night.

Unable to sleep, Zhou Sidong sat alone in a pavilion, gazing up at the vast sky. The dark night dyed the land black, countless stars shimmering brilliantly.

"Dongdong! Good news! Great news!"

Suddenly, Xiaoxue's voice rang out in Zhou Sidong's mind.

"What good news? Tang San's dead?"

Zhou Sidong asked quickly.

"Not that. Do you remember the Blue Silver Emperor we obtained behind Holy Soul Village back then?"

Xiaoxue reminded him.

"I remember. That was Tang San's mother. What happened?"

"Come in and you'll see."

As Xiaoxue finished speaking, a golden portal appeared before Zhou Sidong, leading directly to her storage space.

Filled with curiosity, Zhou Sidong stepped inside.

Before him stretched a golden ocean. The Evil Demon Orca King and the Demon Soul Great White Shark King were, as usual, locked in a fierce scuffle, neither willing to yield.

Upon noticing Zhou Sidong's arrival, both fish immediately dove into the sea and vanished.

"These two—I thought they were exercising. Evil Tiger! When are you and Xiao Bai planning your happy event?"

Zhou Sidong shouted.

From beneath the sea, Xiao Bai instantly blushed. Evil Tiger leapt out of the water and said, "I want to, but Xiao Bai won't agree—what can I do?"

As long-standing rivals of tens of thousands of years, perhaps due to mutual respect—or other reasons—after spending so much time together, it was inevitable…

"Evil Tiger! You killed my younger brother! I will definitely find a chance to avenge him!"

And just like that, the two fish resumed their bickering.

Zhou Sidong: "..."

He stopped paying attention to them and walked straight toward the enormous Blue Silver Emperor.

The Blue Silver Emperor before him had grown into a towering tree, even more majestic than the Blue Silver King he had seen in the Blue Silver Forest. A blue-gold glow flashed, and before Zhou Sidong, a hazy human figure began to take shape…
