She shook her head, dismissing the strange thoughts from her mind.
Just as she was about to lie down, she suddenly touched something cold and slippery beneath her.
When she took it out and looked, it turned out to be something resembling a fish scale. It was a cold white that shimmered with starlight but refracted a fantastical array of colors under the light.
She rubbed the scale, thinking how big the fish must be for it to have such a large scale?

She brought the fish scale close to her nose and sniffed it. A fresh, serene fragrance wafted over her, dispelling much of the pain and dizziness in her head.
