The phone in the living room rang a few times, the butler answered, and after a few words, handed the phone to Melody Thorne, "Madam, it's for you!"
"Senator Gordon?"
"Miss Thorne, I didn't expect you to be so patient. So? After playing me yesterday, do you feel particularly happy now? Do you think you've won?" came Senator Gordon's low chuckle from the other end.
"Do you think the drug you gave my mom can stump Leon Rivers and Dr. Mo? You're being too arrogant!" Melody Thorne's eyes gleamed coldly.
"Miss Thorne, whether or not it stumps them, you should be very aware by now, so there's no need for me to say anything further. I'm not being arrogant, but I can tell you that only I have the antidote for the drug I used; no one else can cure it. That's it for what I have to say. If you want Mrs. Sila to be safe and sound, you'll have to come alone to get the antidote. Oh, and you should know what I want, right?"
Melody Thorne clenched her phone, "Give me the address!"
