Back at the company, Zhou Yaling greeted the employees in the purchasing department and left in a hurry.
She left two bewildered purchasers behind.
"What do we do now?"
"Let it stew."
The two of them sighed in unison.
They exchanged a glance and decided to pass the problem on to the boss.
Neither of them were foolish; they understood the signal implicit in the sudden demotion of this big shot, trailing after them doing legwork.
But what does that have to do with them?
They aren't the bosses anyway, it doesn't matter who leads the department as far as they're concerned.
As long as it doesn't go too far, no one will say anything.
After coordinating with the gardening team for supplies, the two left.
Meanwhile, Zhou Yaling emerged from the elevator and headed straight for her brother's office.
Honestly, Candy's gift had raised her expectations quite a bit.
