In this tributary, a bottomless pit extending underground appeared, and the river water on the tributary continuously flowed into this abyss-like pit.
This caused the sizable tributary channel to be cut off at the bottomless pit.
Su Mu looked down towards the tributary's lower section. Because all the river water was flowing into the bottomless pit, the downstream tributary was completely deprived of any irrigation, causing the riverbed to dry up and crack. The sandy riverbed was covered with various fish bones, with no signs of life anywhere in sight.
Not only that, but along the downstream path, the riverine grasses and other vegetation had all withered, leaving a desolate wilderness.
This tributary, though not small, had a wide channel and should have been very rich in aquatic resources. By rights, it should have contained many Treasure Fish.
