On the river's surface, a Cyan Ox walked slowly forward in the water.
On the back of the Cyan Ox sat an old man wearing simple clothes, with gray hair and a somewhat gaunt body.
The old man's appearance was very ordinary, blending perfectly with passersby on the street. However, his eyes were exceptionally clear, with a flickering Immortal Light in his pupils that seemed to jump and extinguish continuously.
Then, he patted the back of the Cyan Ox and said, "Stop for a moment."
With that, the Cyan Ox halted its steps. The old man waved his hand, and somehow a fishing rod appeared in his palm. The rod was made of wood, but the hook was straight and without any bait.
Holding the rod, the old man cast it toward the middle of the river, then sat on the Cyan Ox's back, gazing indifferently at the river's surface, without using a float, unclear what he was observing.
