Returning home.
Lu Jiu hadn't yet recovered from the conversation with the old man.
He walked to the bed, looking at the dim crescent moon and the countless stars in the sky.
His thoughts seemed to drift in the air, standing against the wind.
This world does not have inventions and creations...
In other words, human existing science relies on the natural laws of the world itself. If these laws were to change, then the current science would become meaningless. If explained this way, the scientific creations humans possess now could indeed be considered gifts from Heaven.
But in this way, wouldn't it completely devalue the efforts of humans to nothing?
In Lu Jiu's worldview, humans are undoubtedly the most important existence in this world.
But in the old man's eyes, human capabilities seem negligible, almost insignificant compared to the heavens.
Such a view was naturally difficult for Lu Jiu to accept.
