Kiki defended Maya.
"It's just you, this little rabbit, that got played around by her. Maya isn't as kind-hearted as you think!"
"Yes, you have to keep your eyes open for everything. I can tell you're a rare good girl. We'll have to collaborate sometime!"
"By the way, I have a role that suits you here. If you're interested, I can talk to the director, since you're not like Maya, who has such a bad reputation. I'd love to help you build a ladder."
...
Kiki readily agreed and started chatting enthusiastically with them, already forgetting about Maya.
Suddenly, a figure ahead caught everyone's eyes.
"Oh, isn't that Maya? Why is she being held by a man?"
Someone whispered in amazement.
Due to the angle, Kiki couldn't see the man's face, only his tall and upright figure, especially his unparalleled aura.
Just from his back, one could imagine how incredibly handsome he must be.
Kiki's heartbeat unknowingly slowed down by two beats.
"I've heard Maya has a powerful benefactor behind her. Otherwise, she wouldn't be so wild. If someone else was so annoyingly reckless, they'd have been canceled long ago. The reason she wasn't is because of the powerful person behind Maya, maybe someone big in the industry. Could this be Maya's benefactor? He looks quite young, why is he so blind?"
"There aren't many rich and handsome people in the affluent circles. How could Maya have the luck to bump into such a catch! Maybe it's just a young star she's trying to stir up scandal with; she's done this more than once or twice! Wouldn't you say so, Kiki?"
It was only then that Kiki snapped back from her reverie.
"Probably, who knows, anyway, it doesn't matter..."
Kiki's voice carried a hint of delight.
She considered that such an excellent and handsome man would eventually be hers.
Kiki has always had great luck since she was a child, especially in romance.
Strangely enough, although she's quite pretty, she hasn't reached the level of a standout beauty, yet manages to attract handsome guys' attention from a young age.
Those guys would always leave various types of beauties beside them to turn and pursue her madly, as if they wouldn't give up unless they married her.
Once, a handsome heir abandoned millions of inheritance to elope with her, but she refused.
She can clearly feel how good her luck is, because no matter the difficulty she faces, she always manages to turn the situation around, as if the heavens have favored her.
Thus, she fully believes that this is just another person who will relentlessly chase after her.

Maya was roughly thrown into the back seat.
"Oh dear, you hurt me."
Ian Rowe sat next to her, just glancing at her lightly before instructing Vincent Summers in front.
"Take us home."
Vincent withdrew his gaze and couldn't help but laugh.
Watching Maya grimace in agony was quite satisfying, especially since she once released Tibetan mastiffs to bite him!
He has no other strengths, just a particularly good memory, especially when it comes to holding grudges.
Maya keenly noticed Vincent's smirk and retorted:
"What are you looking at? Haven't seen a married couple interact before? Ian and I have been an old married couple for years, and we've developed a unique way of getting along. This is how we express our love! You, as a single dog, wouldn't understand!"
Vincent was so angry he almost smashed the steering wheel barehanded.
This damned woman actually mocked him as a single dog!?... oh wait! She actually insulted him for being a single dog!?
These two really are a matched pair, one mercilessly exploiting him financially, the other unloading curses on him just as relentlessly!
Maya was carried upstairs by Ian.
Ian initially definitely didn't want to carry her, but couldn't resist Maya's gentle coercion and relentless entangling.
Maya quietly admired Ian's stunningly handsome face from within his arms.
His eyes are beautiful... his nose is prominent... the curve of his lips is perfectly smooth...
Maya had to admit Ian was the most handsome out of all she's seen since arriving in this scripted world, and even though they'll certainly fall apart in the future, getting to enjoy this visual feast now is absolutely worthwhile! No, it's a huge gain!!
Ian not-so-gently placed Maya on the bed, tidied his clothes, and instinctively surveyed the bedroom he hadn't stepped into for a long time.
Ian likes simple yet elegant rooms, but Maya likes brightly colored and flamboyant ones, especially piling up branded bags and cosmetics in a corner, forbidding anyone to tidy them, so the room quickly became messy.
Ian has mild OCD, even a little untidiness can make him uncomfortable for a whole day, let alone a room turned upside down by Maya.
Not long after marriage, Ian moved out of the bedroom to live elsewhere. Maya cried and fussed for several days, smashing all the expensive stuff in the villa, but couldn't make Ian change his mind.
Ian raised his eyebrows in surprise, he had been prepared for the room to be unliveable.
Maya loves hoarding brand names, refusing to discard them even if they're outdated, treasures them like gems, filling the room with Maya's miscellaneous items.
But now the bedroom is clean and bright, those brands have vanished, with no trace of messiness.
A giant plush bear sprawled on the bed, bold and adorable with a commanding eyebrow that inexplicably felt familiar...
Maya seems to have changed a lot since before...
What exactly changed is unclear, just feels much more likable than before.
She's just fine like this, her occasional tantrums don't seem annoying.
Seeing him inspect the surroundings, Maya seized the chance to claim credit: "I knew you didn't like it messy like that, so I quickly tidied up, and donated everything to the foundation without wasting anything."
Actually, she found the room too cluttered and an eyesore herself.
Ian looked at her foot.
"I'll call the family doctor over to check on you."
"Huh? Wait..."
Maya grabbed Ian's wrist, there was a string of sandalwood beads there, feeling somewhat hard to the touch.
Maya blinked guiltily, but lied effortlessly, "Darling, you're my best remedy! You carried me all the way, and I feel like my foot is much better. Walking normally isn't a problem now!"
Saying that, Maya jumped off the bed and took two steps for Ian.
"See, I was right? I've been healed by you, no need to bother the doctor!"
Ian, being so perceptive, could easily see through the cause and effect, just watched her performance silently without saying more.
