"Noah Drexler, what did he just say to you?"
Summer Shawcross looked at Noah Drexler with confusion.
She hadn't really understood the conversation between Yancy Shaw and Noah Drexler earlier; she only knew Yancy whispered something to Noah, and then Noah's expression changed.
Upon hearing Summer's voice, Noah's eyes shifted, casting aside his cold expression.
"Just business matters," he murmured, his lips barely moving.
Hearing this, Summer felt no suspicion. Both he and Yancy were people who had been in business for years, seldom having personal interactions; besides business, they didn't have much else to discuss, did they?
Thinking about it, Summer glanced toward the door and couldn't help but complain.
"But, Yancy is really strange. Since he's here, why make such a young child worry and be afraid?"
Why not just bring Nathaniel Shaw over to apologize at the start, instead of complicating things?
