When she returned to the living room, Noah Drexler was sitting at the table, staring absentmindedly at the rice dumplings on the table.
Upon hearing a sound nearby, Noah Drexler turned his gaze, and when he saw the peeled rice dumpling she was holding, the expression on his handsome face froze.
Summer Shawcross came to his side, placed the plate down, then picked up a chopstick, pierced the soft white dumpling, and lifted it up, dipping it in some sugar before directly bringing it to his lips.
"Try it!" She smiled at him, her voice gentle.
Noah Drexler lowered his gaze, looking at the pure white dumpling she offered him, his eyes hesitated, and he did not open his mouth.
Seeing he did not make a move, Summer Shawcross was puzzled, instinctively thinking he did not like it.
"Plain sticky rice dumplings without filling don't have much taste. I think a bit of sugar makes them better. If you don't like it, I'll replace it." She sighed softly.
