After she finished speaking, a light laugh from Sean Shawcross came from the phone.
"I might forget anyone, but never you, you little rascal."
After Sean finished speaking, Summer Shawcross paused for a moment.
The nickname "rascal" was given to her by her brother when she was little because she often bullied him with the family's affection, yet he never got angry at her. The most Sean ever did was give her a nickname.
Now, she hadn't heard the nickname in a long time. Hearing it now just made her feel incredibly warm.
While she was lost in thought holding her phone, Sean's gentle voice came through again.
"I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to contact you, making you worry."
"When I come back, I'll definitely treat you to a lot of good food to make up for my guilt."
Hearing Sean say that, Summer couldn't help but smile, then deliberately said discontentedly.
"Just a little food and you think you can brush me off? It's not that easy."
