Bo Si lifted her head and looked out the car window; the Bo Family's main gate suddenly appeared before her eyes.
She stared blankly. She used to be so proud of being able to walk through this gate, every time with a small thrill and a puff of pride, but this was the first time she didn't want to go in.
"Miss?"
Bo Si came back to herself, took a deep breath, got out of the car and walked in.
Just stepping into the house, she felt something was off. The air pressure around her was very low—so low that in the vast living room no one dared to say a word—and in the very center, on the grand armchair, Old Master Bo sat with a blank expression.
Bo Si's heart gave a thump, and she instinctively tiptoed as she was about to go in.
"Come here."
The voice was stern.
"Grandpa." Bo Si called out once.
Old Master Bo picked up a magazine from the table beside him and directly flung it at her. "What is all this goddamn nonsense?!"
