On the third Saturday of September, the bell for the last class of the afternoon rang, and the drowsy little girl immediately snapped awake.
Among all the subjects, Cheng Xue disliked politics the most. Whenever it was time for this class, she would doze off. And this class was often scheduled in the afternoon—afternoons are inherently tough with autumn tiredness, and this made it even harder to resist.
