South Grant was bewildered for a moment before she realized it—Chester Lynch didn't know she was a girl, so how could he possibly be asking about her big balls.
Could it be about playing basketball?
As South Grant was pondering, Chester Lynch asked her again:
"Do you know how to play basketball?"
Only then did South Grant realize that her thoughts had gone off in the wrong direction earlier.
"Oh, oh, oh, so it's basketball." South Grant felt a bit embarrassed inside.
"Otherwise, what kind of ball did you think I meant?" Chester Lynch raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Nothing, nothing..."
Chester Lynch didn't understand why South Grant looked off-color, but the team was short of a member now, and with no one to find temporarily, he asked her again:
"Our team is missing a player now, and the game is about to start. I don't know where to find someone on such short notice. Can you play basketball?"
"I can..." watch others play basketball.
